Himalayan Exotic Indian Csne , is probably one of the worst Indian restaurants I have been to in about 4 years of my living in
United States. Forget about the taste , the food is Stale , unhygienic , and obnoxiously disgusting to the highest degree.
Spending time write another sentence of this place is a criminal waste of time. Don??t even think about entering this
filthy place

I work around the corner from Himalayan and used to go here weekly for lunch. The food got worse. The service got worse and the last time we were there they charged $9.50 for the buffet and everything tasted awful. I won't be back. Go to Royal India or Taste of India instead.

I think they might have gone through a period with a new chef or something, because for a while there it was hit or miss with the food quality and accuracy of take-out orders. But the last few times we've been there have been great - I think they might have fixed the issues. It's too soon to say for sure, though. I can say - last two times we were there for lunch buffet on Saturdays, we were thrilled. The goat meat was so tender (that's been an issue at some other restaurants), the selection varied, creative, delicious. I love that they have masala tea available at the buffet.

The luncheon buffet was quite nice and a very good value for 8$, About 10 different dishs available, lamb & chicken curry, various veggie curries. I prefer pretty spicy, most were on the mild side but flavorful. Chicken Tikka was moist.

I've been to most of the Indian restaurants in the Philadelphia area, but this is my favorite. They have great appetizers like Onion Bhaji and Samosa, and I especially enjoy their Bengan Bhartha (eggplant) and Alo Choli. The white basmati

Himalyan is something of a tradition for my friends and I. During lunchtime they offer an all-you can eat buffet for cheap (last time I went I think it was $6 or $7.) On weekdays at lunchtime you see a lot of people from the corporate center on lunchbreak, but even then it's not too crowded.

The food is excellent, the waitstaff is curteous and prompt, the ambiance is good, and the price is most definitely right. I've been to all the Indian restaurants in Frazer, and this is definitely the best.

We have a 2 year old and don't get out much. This was in the Entertainment Book and we like Indian food so we tried it. We'll be back. It's not much to look at on the outside but the food was fantastic. We were the minority - the restaurant was pretty full with about 70% of the patrons of Indian descent. There was a large group of about 12, another family with a baby, some couples on dates - it seemed like a good place for any occasion. The women are dressed in very colorful clothing. It was nice - try it.
