On 9/11/17 I stopped by the Lansdale store and purchased a battery and charger for an upcoming trip. After the items sat in a bag for 5 days I tried to return them and was told I could not return them for a refund, I could only get a store credit. I was referred to the sales receipt where the company policy for batteries and chargers is stated. The policy was not disclosed prior to the sale nor is the policy posted anywhere, every time I'd been in the store and shopped I was informed of a 30-day price match or return policy; I would have no reason to believe this purchase would be any different. The receipt was placed in the bag, again without disclosing the return policy. I was concerned about the extremely high prices that were charged for the item and decided to do some online research. I found the same item for significantly less.

I left a message for the owner, Kurt Seelig, to contact me. He never called. Wanting to reach a resolution prior to my departure, I call Mr. Seelig a few hours prior to my departure. Mr. Seelig was rude, condescending, and continually interrupting me. He told me that he implemented the policy because people would use the batteries and chargers and then return them after vacations, when I tried to explain that the items had never been opened, he told me, "I'm in retail and we have a policy." When I tried ask why he would refuse to provide a refund on items that have not been opened and could easily be returned to inventory he interrupted me by yelling at me, "You're not getting a refund, it's on the receipt. You can get a store credit" and then hung up on me.

I filed a grievance with the BBB and despite multiple attempts by the BBB to contact Mr. Seelig, he has refused to respond to them, also. Why would I want a store credit from this company? They clearly have no interests in offering quality service at competitive prices and would prefer to hold you hostage by keeping your money than earning your business. The company has no sense of customer satisfaction or quality.

I am a passionate nature freak and photographer. So when my flash stopped working 7 months ago I took it into the King of Prussia Cardinal Camera for repairs. When I dropped it off I asked the clerk what the estimated time would be to repair it. He state 4-6 weeks give or take a week. That was the end of June 2011. It is now January 16th 2012, seven months later, and no camera. I started to call the repair man, emailed him, even sent a raving letter to corporate. At first I was told the part was on back order. Fine. But then the one time I finally get to talk to Terry, he tells me that MY camera was sent to Nikon USA without my knowledge or consent. I told him the importance of the camera to me in october and he (terry) promised to try and get them to rush it. It is now January and he never even called back to say whether they would or not. Obviously not. After waiting seven months to fix a damned flash I am fed up with it. I have been nothing but sweet and patient. Even worse when I dropped the camera off the market value for it was 399.00. seven months later its 270 so even if i wanted to force them to let me trade it in for another of equal value I lose 129 dollars. Its lose lose. Cardinal Camera has been the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. At this point i'm sure they have lost it or accidentally sold it to someone else. I absolutely recommend going to another store, AVOID CARDINAL CAMERA AT ALL COSTS.

I went to Cardinal Camera because the part where you plug the USB port had actually come unscrewed and fallen into the camera. The man who waited on me said it would be very costly to fix it but he could give me a quick cheap solution, a card reader. I was very impressed with his honesty when he could have tried to get more money out of me. Great Job Cardinal, I will definitely be back!

Over the years, I have purchased 2 cameras from Cardinal, and I was very impressed by the knowledgeable staff. I was equally impressed by their attentiveness and willingness to repair my camera, when at other places I was told to just buy a new one. The prices were excellent, as well. Most recently I used them for reprints of Christmas photos, which were beautiful quality & affordable. They will have my business for a lon time!

excellent service, great selection and have replacement parts in stock for many unexpected items, you dont find many family owned stores like this anymore. they will meet competitors sale prices.
