.

We had rooterman out for a backed up septic tank in a house we'd lived in for a year.
In the morning, one guy came out, looked in our septic tank and said "That hasn't been pumped for years That's the problem" - $280 charge right there. A while later we discovered that it HAD been pumped out and he couldn't have known with the glance he gave it (we were naive and foolishly had told him we were new to dealing with septic tanks)

The pump out didn't fix it, so he sent another guy out saying it would be $200 to snake the pipe and stick a camera down. The guy came out, ($500 now because they new guy claimed a snake was no good, it had to be a water jet and if we ignored the advice it would be double cost to come out and do it again). He jetted and stuck in a camera.
All looked good until we found out later that he didn't put the camera in all the way and all he'd done was make a small channel through the block with the water jet.

We discovered this when we had another back up days later but this time dug the whole thing up, only to discover the pipe went further than the camera did and was completely blocked with years of gunk.

I would definitely not have them back again! Very unprofessional and I believe they absolutely new we didn't anything about septics and took advantage of that.
