My wife and I have enjoyed dinner here frequently. We often come for anniversaries or special occasions.
The food has been uniformly marvelous and the service and atmosphere is unmatched in the Lehigh Valley.
We have brought friends here who have been amazed at the quality in so historic an atmosphere.
Bring an appetite.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. We started with the fruit and cold cheese plate and the smoked salmon and trout plate. Both delicious. The cheese plate consisted of very high quality artisinal cheeses: goat, brie, bleu and perfectly ripe pears. The smoked salmon and trout came with finely diced red onion, horseradish sauce, capers, and crackers. The salmon and trout was fresh and delicious. We shared the lobster bisque which was OUT of this world - lots of lobster chunks, and the Pomme salad was heavenly. My entree was the coconut sauteed lobster tail and my husband had the filet - BOTH of which were cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was a surprising 12 ounces. Our sides were a potato au gratin, asparagus, and herb sauteed summer squash. Again, done to perfection. Expansive wine list. The host, bartender, and waitress were wonderful; attentive - we waited for nothing. This is a hidden gem of a place, cozy, very stately, and in a beautiful old building, tucked away in the lush country side of Center Valley. A place you truly need to visit and enjoy.

Internet browsing took us to this restaurant for Easter dinner. If we didn't have directions, we would have never found this lovely manor- no signs. The manor itself was very nice and comfortable. We were set in front of the fire place which gave a very nice ambiance to our dining. The food was very good with ample portions from the soup to the desserts. My family felt their french onion soup, salads, and their beef wellington and veal dishes were excellent, however the bisque was too thin and the duck was quite dry and over cooked. The dinner may not have seemed overpriced if our wait staff would have been a little bit more informative or eager to please. We would recommend this restaurant for its atmosphere and food.

We had New Year's Eve dinner here this past year. For an ungodly price, we both had almond-crusted Lobster, which was mushy. The service was not as polished as it should have been, but the atmosphere was perfect. I'd much rather spend that $180 on a true high-end dinner at Savory Grille or Bayleaf, then buy myself a pair of good shoes with the left over money!

The Manor House Inn is a very high class restraunt but that doesn't always mean the food is good. It's French Cuisine. Items like Rabbit and Sweet Breads (Brains). And other international items fill the menu. It wasn't of my liking but that does not mean others might not find it delicious. My husband got the beef wellington and he liked it. For the price though he thought there could have been a bigger portion. Make sure you make a reservation because this place does get crowded. The restraunt itself is very beautiful , a historical setting and very romantic inside.
