I have been waiting on my sectional couch for almost 2 months. I was told when I bought it, it was hitting their warehouse within 2 weeks. I wasn't happy about that but thought I could live with 2 weeks. Well of course 2 weeks went by and no sectional. Every time I called I got a different delivery date. I am on my 4th date of when it "should" hit their warehouse. I could've special ordered furniture for the wait time I've had on this!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Save your money and go somewhere else. I don't know how anyone could work there because every phone call they get is probably a customer in a bad mood because they're telling them the delivery date has been pushed again.

Well we just received our beautiful electric reclining sofa after waiting a little over a month to get it. The only problem was when they brought it in to our house, my mom asked them to show her how it works. The delivery guys came back in to show her but there was no motor in the sofa for it to recline. The cords were there but no motor. Then they asked my 71 year old mother if she wanted them to send the motor to her so she could install it herself. This is terrible customer service. Now we have to wait two days for a service tech to come out and install the motor. Why charge $1000.00 for a sofa that has to be made and then is missing one of the most important pieces? I'll update this review once they come and fix the problem.

Furniture was not in stock, but would arrive in 2 weeks. When that didn't happen, I was told another date, then another, then another...after 5 weeks I tried to cancel the charges and I still haven't seen the refund. This place is dishonest, unprofessional, and customer service can be rude and unhelpful.

junk junk junk buyer beware when it breaks down in 4 months from the puchase date they WON'T refund you and send out a repairman 10 times and still wont get it fixed !

I always heard little stories about Roomful Express furniture but I never really paid much attention. Boy, I wish I had! I went to buy a new couch for a place I recently moved into. It being an old house with very narrow hallways, I wrote down all the dimensions and headed out to find a new couch for my new home. I started out purchasing a low back sofa from Roomful Express.
After waiting a week for delivery, they decided (without even getting it off the truck) it would not fit down my hallway. They left ?? no couch. I returned to the store a little annoyed and searched for a similar looking couch with different dimensions. Without much luck we ended up finding one in the clearance section, not because it was any cheaper but because it resembled the first choice but had a lower back with cushions your could tuck in, making it perfect to fit down the hall. Our salesman measured and assured us it wouldn??t be a problem fitting through our hallway. We had to pick the couch up ourselves since it was indeed a clearance item. Once returning home with the couch it of course did not fit. With a couch in the middle of my kitchen I call the store to speak with a manager. After explaining my situation of the couch that was assured to fit and arguing for 15 mins they told me I could bring the still wrapped in plastic couch back ?? but ??not today?.
The next few days it rained and we were not able to hull the couch back to the store safely.
In the meantime, I went one last time to the store to look for something else. We explained the situation to BOTH sales people helping us. We came to the conclusion a reclining sofa (although, not what I really wanted) would be the best and possibly only option, because we could take it apart in 3 separate pieces and bring them into the house separately. We found one we ??liked?. I purchased it ?? and was to deliver 3 days later. I arranged for them to pick up the couch that was still sitting in my kitchen (the weather hadn??t allowed us to take it back) at the same time they delivered my THIRD couch for a small fee. I took the afternoon off of work to have them deliver it. An inch of snow fell that day and they call from the customer service to let me know the truck would not be delivery today because of the weather. There was ONE INCH OF SNOW on the ground??? I asked when I would be rescheduled and she didn??t have anything for another WEEK. After explaining my situation to her, she has no sympathy and even starts to get smart, asking ??do you want it next week or not??. I schedule for a week later delivery, and walk around the couch in my kitchen for another week. Once my THIRD couch arrives ?? the drivers assured me this reclining sofa did NOT come apart and there was no way it was making it in all together. I made them take my second couch that was sitting in the middle of my kitchen and swore to never ever ever step foot in a Roomful Express again. I get a bill a month later for a couch. When calling customer service to ask what for they assure me I still have a couch in my possession. After going rounds with them at customer service, which might I add are EXTREMELY rude and inconsiderate we finally got to the bottom of the misunderstanding (on their part) and cleared my account. I did not have one of their couches ?? nor at this point did I want one! I think the customer service center could use a little lesson in customer service themselves. As for the inapt sales staff ?? I think you need to start listening to the customers needs instead of trying to make a quick sale.

The next week I went to Levin??s. Tahe sales man walked me through the entire showroom and flipped over every single sofa to show me if and where it came apart. I purchased a couch (similar to the first one I had my heart set on) and in 2 days it was delivered. They took it apart, brought it into the house, and had it put back together in 15mins. Easy as that. My 2+ months of agony at Roomful Express was solved in 3 days at Levin??s.
** If you live in the Pittsburgh area, I have purchased many things since the couch at Levin??s and have been extremely satisfied every time. Def worth it.

Avoid Roomful Express at all costs!!!!

I think roomful express furniture is a very nice store. I found that they have a very nice selection here. I also thought that this store was set up in a very nice fashion. The sales staff here was so friendly and helpful. The other thing I thought was great about this store was that they offer to deliver your purchases right to your home free of charge.

Its so decorative and things have been displayed so very well.Love to visit often.We got our sofa and love seat from them.The service is very good.And they offer free home delivery.They also offer financing service.Itts so helpful if we are not able to pay at a time.The items in this store is at affordable prices and the quality is too good.We'he been using the furniture bought from this store since 4 years and never had a complaint.They never compramise with quality.
