This bar has a nice trendy basement atmosphere with alot to do such as pinball and billiards, but no selection of drinks. It seemed like all they had was beer. I named about 5 fairly common drinks and they didn't have any of them. They

I love this place! It takes you back to your childhood, with tops, crayons, and other toys on all the tables. The walls are covered with names and notes signed in crayons. Oh by the way, the food and drinks are good too!

Tried this place on a whim while out in Old City and I loved it. The jukebox had some good tunes, they had some old school arcade games, and $1 16oz. PBRs from 7-11. A great place to go to just chill out and have some fun. The men's bathroom is also covered with pictures of Playboy and Penthouse girls, which is always a nice touch.

Pros: Cheap drinks, arcade games

Cons: You have to walk upstairs to go to the bathroom (not really too much of a con)

This is the sister bar to Tattooed Mom's on South Street. Each are eclectic in their own way and seem to attract a somewhat different crowd. It's in the basement and dimly lit. If you go on a night when it's not crowded, you can grab a seat on the couch. Play some pool or pin ball. Beer selection is not the best, but not bad.

I come here often Sunday night as it is very laid back. Other nights may be a little too much is happening, but Sunday works great for me.

The beer selection is something I can live with. I order waffle fires with it, and I am set.

There are some sofas in the bar which make is more relaxing.

If you are looking to see and be seen, don't show up here, but if you want to hang out, play some tunes on the jukebox, and have a few strong drinks, this is the place for you. Loved the theme of play: pinball, carnival rides, etc. Friendly doorman and bartenders. Cheap drinks (e.g. $4 G & T).

Pros: Chill crowd. Great service and value. Funky decor.

Cons: Lack of rap stars and media moguls (just kidding)

.

Maybe I just don't get it, but I got rude service here and the food was typical bar food straight from the freezer to the fryer.

Spent a few hours here during a recent bachelor party. This place rocks, great beers at great prices. The bathroom is upstairs, which makes a hard trip once you have knocked a few down, but it rewards you with tons of naked women all over the walls.

For all the snobby, overpriced bar/restaurants in our city, there has to be a few cheap and tasty ones! Thank God we have Sugar Moms. I love this place! I go on Thursdays, where pitchers of Yuengling are a mere $4.00 and a burger is under $6.00. It is a refreshing change to the hoity-toity (I love that phrase) places that don't live up to their reputation!

this place is well-hidden in center city (olde I think) it's a glorified cellar w/ all the charm of an 1800's pub and a cotemporary, mixed crowd. if the rest of olde city is to dressy and airy for you my suggestion is to head down to sugar mom's.
