Last spring, my husband and I purchased a living room set from Roomful Express. The couch broke in the fall. They sent a Craftsman to fix the problem. The couch broke again a few months later. It was the same problem. Another craftsman came out to repair the couch and left with it not being fixed. He didn't even contact Roomful's cooperate offices to let them know that he was unable to fix it. I am also unable to see his reports. I had to call the Cooperate Office myself to let them know that is still broken. After 2 weeks of leaving message, and not having my call returned, I was finally given a credit to go pick out new couches. We went to the store and wasn't able to find anything that we want to buy and I don't want to purchase any more furniture from Roomful Express. After another week of leaving messages for supervisors (Smaragda & Jennifer,) the only thing they were able to do it extend my store credit for 1 month and talk to the crafts man. They are not even guaranteeing that a craftsman will come out to look at our couch again. I do not to purchase any more furniture from Roomful. I either want my couch fixed or be refunded in full to that I can go to another store to purchase my furniture (which they tell me is not possible). I will never buy any more furniture from Roomful because of the lack of quality and the poor customer service.

I should also add that when I had the furniture delivered, I was 8 months pregnant and the delivery guys wanted to leave the furniture in my kitchen and I could ??slide? it (which was 2 huge leather reclining sofa??s) into the family room. They didn??t want to take their muddy shoes off. I told them to just leave their shoes on and I was stuck scrubbing the carpet.

If looking for furniture, please go somewhere else. Roomful Express may have inexpensive furniture, but it is definitely not well made furniture, their delivery guys are lazy, and their customer service is horrible.

Hindsight is 20/20 - so if you are reading this prior to a furniture purchase... you are ahead of the game. DO NOT BUY FROM ROOMFUL EXPRESS. One word - JUNK. I purchased a leather sofa ($2000 leather sofa) and less than a year later - the seams are opened and the frame (little more than brittle cardboard) is broken down. There is no 'customer service' or recourse through the store or citi financial.
Even if you must wait to save a little more money to purchase somewhere else - it will cost you MUCH less in the long run.
My advice: RUN AWAY FAST.

That didn't last long, i now have found that citi financial, the company Roomful Express uses, has lowered our credit limit by $2000! Our choices are, return some of the furniture, pay the $2000 out of pocket or get another loan through someone else. I am renting a Ryder truck this weekend and loading ALL of the furniture I have received from them. I am sending it all back. The furniture is not of good quality, the customer service is atrocious and citi financial is a joke. I will never buy anything from them ever again!

I moved to a new apartment in Pittsburgh, and needed a couch. So I went to Roomful Express because I saw many ads and heard great things. So I went in and found my couch with little or no problem. Then when I said I needed it delivered, they told me I could call to set it up on Monday (since I wasn't sure when I'd be around yet) and that I would be guaranteed Saturday delivery at the latest. So I called Monday. "I don't know what to tell you. Saturday is booked and there's nothing we can do about it. You'll have to wait another 2 weeks." I told them how the salesperson promised me Saturday, but they didn't care. So I tried scheduling it for another day. They called to tell me the time frame for the following day; I said no one would be here (like I told them in the first place), so I got transferred to three other people to try and get another date set up. Then they called me at 7 the next morning to tell me my delivery was delayed to later that day (even though I should have already been rescheduled). I was around during that time, so I was excited. They came to deliver it, and there was a razor rip in the arm of the couch. Then they tell me there's no more in stock and that I could still have that one if I wanted. Then they told me if I didn't want it, I wouldn't be charged the delivery fee. So almost two weeks later, I set it up for a different Saturday, and they called me today to ask a question concerning my delivery. I called back and no one knew what I was talking about. Then I asked about the delivery reimbursement, and they also had no idea what I was talking about and that there would be no reason to give such a thing. I haven't gotten my couch yet, but I promise you, after all of this, I will never buy there again unless I am able to take the furniture with me that day. Hope your luck is better.

I had a tremendous experience looking for the perfect coffee table at the Roomful Express on McKnight Road. I went in on a mission...to find a table I found on the internet. My sales person, Matt, couldn't have been any more helpful. He literally ran around the store with me (I had exactly a half an hour) and when I found what I thought was THE table he offered comparisons in the same price range! This was very helpful because Matt helped me to find a BETTER table for the same price. I was so impressed with his patience and listening skills. I will go back to Roomful Express on McKnight Road for my larger furniture purchases because of the customer service I had tonight! Oh and my table looks perfect! :)
