Moon Veterinary Hospital

I have gone through generations of pets with Moon Veterinary Hospital. I remember all the way back to where they were on Coraopolis Heights Road. Regardless of the veterinarian, I am comfortable that my pet has always received outstanding care. I remember each veterinarian quite well and thank them each for the times when things were good and I am grateful when my aged or ill pet saw them in times of sorrow. I am a diligent, devoted and extremely loving pet owner and I would recommend this Veterinary Hospital to anyone in the area who is seeking caring compassionate care for their pet.

I had been utilizing Moon Veterinary Hospital for health services for my two dogs and one cat. The biggest thing I didn't like is that there seems to be a high turnover in the vets that practice there so it becomes difficult for you to establish a relationship between you, your pet and your vet. When I first started using them four years ago and a different group of vets practiced there, I felt like they were more empathetic and understanding towards the needs of you and your pet(s). On my last visit there, it seemed like the goal of the vet was to have you keep coming back for more visits and additional (and, in my opinion, unnecessary testing) just to make more money and not necessarily in the best interest of the pet.

PROS: Office Staff is Very Pleasant
CONS: High Vet Turnover, No After Hours or Emergency Services
