Just one delivery mistake in the 10+ years that I have been a customer. First tried Luciano's pizza at the old place in White Oak and was a fan from the beginning. Great pizza from what has become a Suburban Pittsburgh tradition.

Pros: Great sauce and plenty of toppings

.

Classic north hills pizza. The kind of local hang out that you will come back to time and time again. The pizza is great, and they always make the pizza in the time they say they will.

Luciano's Pizza and Six Pack is a excellent pizza shop and restaurant. Their pizza both thin and pan are always delicious. They also serve tasteful hoagies and salads. We have been a long time customer. We had tried others and always go back to Luciano's. It is of our favorites especially with delivery.

This place has darn good pizza and hoagies, for a slightly higher price than you might expect. The food rates 4.5 stars. But the customer service is terrible. They screw up orders very often, and then treat you like you're a pain for pointing it out. This is especially true of their delivery service. You're never quite sure what will show up at your door or when it will show up. When they mess things up they treat you like you're trying to scam them out of some free food. The last incident with them made me sign up just to write this. They delivered our order in stages, first the pizza which was good, then the Italian hoagie which was cold and soggy with brown lettuce, and arrived 47 minutes after the "departure time" printed on the slip. Dinner was long over. It should have been free. Instead the guy hollering in the background was offended that I politely called in about it. They've even upset my sweet-as-pie wife in the past. The amazing part is, they have a customer database and can see who their good customers are. We spend a fortune there. No more.

Oh yes, they also charge you 1.50 for delivery and never mention it.
Basically if you want to be treated like you're very lucky for the privilege of eating their food and you'll take whatever you get and like it, or @#*% off, then this is the place to go.

Though I have to say the girls working the small dining room are very nice, I think they have to wear a suit of armor when they go into kitchen/counter area. It's a war zone back there. So with them it's more like if you mention the screw-ups they'll break down and cry. If you must try this pizza eat in the dining room and don't go during dinner time.

Pros: good parking, 6 Packs!, its just different

Luciano's Pizza in the North Hills is by far the best pizza in the Pittsburgh area. I travel half an hour just to get there!! I also think that their pizza is better than the Bethel Park or White Oak Luciano's. Check it out!
