I always love going here because they have amazing selections of books about history and they also have some great novels that I always wanted to read.

The manager George Zipperlen is wonderful. This is an old fashioned bookstore - the staff can actually read.

I found the people here to be very helpful and accommodating of my questions about the various mystery novels I was looking at.

Not really into the genre, was buying gifts for friends - so I had a lot of questions about quality, etc...

This store used exclusively carry mysteries, but have expanded beyond that. Like other used bookstores, it has narrow aisles with shelves extending to the ceilings full of book treasures! After seeing the movie Capote, I was interested in finding something by or about Truman Capote, and found a collection of short stories and a biography, both at great used book prices too. The people are very friendly--I definitely recommend Whodunit.

As the name implies, Whodunit is a store specializing in mysteries. The selection is pretty good (not comprehensive, but darn close) and the owner is an avid fan himself. He can talk at leangth about who influenced whom, which book is best to start with in a series, and how the tv and movie adaptations stack up, so be prepared to chat. And that is a good thing.

PROS: Good selection, knowledgeable staff
CONS:
