I took my dog there for an emergency visit. They said she hurt her back, they never did any kind of tests, turns out my dog had a uterus infection. They treated her for 2 days in a row giving her cortisone shots in the back. On the 3rd day I took her to another vet who immediately diagnosed the infection. My dog lost 2 valuable days and ended up dying after the surgery because she was too weak. I will never take any of my pets to East Penn again.

Joan

by Joan T.

My boxer had an allergic reaction (possible bee sting). His face was so swollen, it was unreal. They took me right away, gave him a steroid shot and Benedryl shot, and my three small children and I sat and waited for him to rebound. The staff was very patient with us. He finally got the all clear to go home after more than an hour. They called the next day to see how he was.

Overpriced and rude staff. - Stay away...

by cheryl b.

Took my dog in with a broken nail . They rushed her to the back. I asked where are they taking my dog. The vet comes out and explains how he has to wrap the foot, cut the nail, keep infection away with antibiotics....on and on. I asked how much this was going to cost, he said "$100.00.
I said so you're going to charge me 110.00 to cut my dogs toe nails?
He said, well, Yes, but....I stopped him . I told him to bring out my dog and we'll be leaving.
I took my dog to the groomers and she cut ALL of her nails for 10.00
They are very overpriced and have heard many people complain about them also.
