The property and small and comfortable. You can sit in the lobby and relax. The staff is great. I must say this is one of the best hotels in the city.

This hotel is a located on a pretty quiet city street. The building itself is beautiful and very clean. The problem? Many, and I mean many, of the rooms are over the ballrooms which have no soundproofing. We only slept once the wedding receptions were over both nights. The front desk gave us no satisfaction, saying "we had a wedding" We could tell you every song played and the names of the couples! If you go, make sure to ask for a room away from the ballrooms.

My husband and I stayed at the Society Hill Sheraton last year when we visited Philadelphia for the weekend. It was the first time I had ever stayed at a full service hotel and I was very happy with the service. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The hotel is located centrally near a lot of the things that we wanted to see on out trip. The staff had no problems answering our questions.
We ordered room service quite a bit while we were there and we were always pleased with the service and the food. I would highly recomend the Society Hill Sheraton if you plan to stay in Philadelphia.

great view

Sheraton Society Hill Hotel has one of the best views in the city since it's right on waterfront. The Society Hill section of Philadelphia is itself a great place with many shops and restaurants for any out of towners. The prices are on the expensive side but you will definitly have a very good stay and you will be in a safe neighborhood.

A very fantastic hotel. Though small, but very classical. Especially have big ball rooms and wireless connection. It is a ideal place to hold a big conference.

Great location

This Sheraton is located on the waterfront and is within walking distance to some great restaurants and the historic district. I found the staff, especially the concierge, to be extremely helpful, accomodating and friendly. The prices are reasonable when you consider the location and service. They also offer valet parking service.

The common areas are very nice, so are the bars and restaurants. The rooms need update, the bathroom are small and don't have ventilation, 2 min in the shower and you are in a sauna, I hated that part. They charge you for EVERYTHING, it is ridiculous. We were there in business, we had to pay the regular $10/day for internet in the room, but then to have internet access in the meeting room it was an additional $125/day !!!! Outrageous. The good thing is the location, right in the old district.
Pros: Great location, Nice lobby
Cons: Old, Surprise charges, lack features

Nice

Really nice lobby, the rooms were just rooms, nothing exciting. The location is the best if you are looking to do sightseeing or nightlife.
Pros: location, price, lobby
Cons: old rooms
