Should have turned around and walked out as soon as we saw how dirty it was.
Worst food of my life. Had two bites and was done. I tell everyone how horrible it is.
If you want 'upscale' but reasonable - try Borghi's across the street.
Going toward Doylestown, try Pinas (great pizza and pasta) if you're going toward Montgomeryville, try Webbies (excellent cheesesteaks/hoagies)

Pros: NOTHING

Cons: cold pasta, so unclean, rubbery chicken, undercooked fries

The Roasted Pepper used to be a decent place to eat. More Diner type food, but it is really run down and dirty looking. I really wouldn't go back here again

The Roasted Pepper in Chalfont aint what she used to be. Horribly dirty. Owner Mark McPherson operating w/ a liquor license (raided by police, liquor taken away) - I don't know why someone reviewed this place and said it's a good place to go for a drink (unless you bring your own, also, bring a wash cloth and your own food). Ate there one time, will NEVER go back and advise all my friends in Bucks County to stay away. Also, the waiter admitted the dessert was bought from Genuardi's (on menu it said homemade)

Look no further than the Roasted Pepper. Good food and good prices. Friendly staff. Nice place to go to enjoy a drink. It is in a nice area and easy to get to right off 202 N.

The Roasted Pepper has long been a great restaurant in Chalfont.
Great family dining, wonderful specials that encompass American through Italian and excell in both.
A favorite for a Friday night out with the family.

While the staff is friendly, that's about all I have to say that is good about this place. The interior is dark and the glass in the backrests of the booths were very dirty. It feels like you're in the Wild West but the food is all Italian! The prices are way too expensive for the kind of food you get. Also, trying to get into the parking lot is a nightmare since it sits right on 152 right before an intersection...and trying to pull out was even worse!
My advice is clean up the place, redecorate, lower the prices. On a good note, friendly staff!

Pros: Friendly staff that was quick and knew all about area attractions

Cons: Horrible decorating, dark interior, "Wild West" theme but food is Italian, expensive prices for quality of food. Terrible parking lot location.
