Whenever my two business partners come into town and HQ for meetings; we all look forward to Austin's for a "Keystone Pictures's company luncheon". We have been there several times over the past five years and have NEVER been disappointed. Four out of five stars for us big eaters and bottomline watchers!!!

I will like to work as a waitress or a sale merchandise worker. I will like to try some foods to see how good it is to get more experiences in the work in Austin restaurant.

This place is incredible. If I were on death row I would request a meal from THIS PLACE as my last meal. The food is insane and the service is extraordinary. From the bruschetta to the incredible salads that come with your meal to the ribs that just fall off the bone....Serious, I don't need to be hosed down after eating these, I can actually use a fork and get every piece of meat of the bones, you can't go wrong with anything ordered here. It's almost as if they cared about how the food tastes and the service you get. Can't say that for alot places around this area. You DEFINITELY get what you pay for here.

A group of coworkers and I stayed at the Inn at Reading and asked for dining options. We were given a brochure with several local eateries. When pressed for a recommendation, the desk clerk was definitive. "Austin's". So to Austin's we went.
The mushroom soup was excellent: a broth based soup chock full of shitakes and various other species with a bit of rice to boot for variety. Nicely seasoned and flavorful without a salty taste. My cohort started with a bowl of potato soup and declared that with that and the soft, warm honey wheat bread she was in Happy Land. Cajun salmon was perfect as was the creamed spinach. Desert? The fudge sundae was big enough to rate three heart attacks and a belt notch, and the chocolate cake with ganache was rich as Warren Buffett.
Excellent service and attention from every employee that walked by the table without overt interruption.
We left Austin's with our taste buds doing high fives and knuckle bumps and our shirt buttons waving white flags..

They have an intimate atmosphere, and a really good bar. They have the best ribs you can find and amazing baked potato soup. The service is also excellent. They also have really good steaks and chicken fingers.

As you can see, the other 2 reviews were written in 2005. We've been to Austins when they 1st opened and it was a fabulous place to eat. We just went again after 2 years or so for our parents anniversary. They love Prime-Rib and where else to go but Austins "NOT". They only had Prime-Rib Well or Well Done you couldn't order it any other way "WHAT" and this is a so called steak house. The salad was old, the croutons were stale and the one prime-rib we did order was so much smaller then when Austin's first opened. Oh one more thing, you have to pay for your baked potato and veggies....everything is ala-cart now! Go to the 7-Stars in Phoenixville if you want your money's worth and great food.

I can remember what I got 10 months ago! Great food with awesome deserts. Nice atmosphere and booths to sit in.

Pros: Great tasting food

Cons: you'll wait unless you call ahead

The food at Austin's is outstanding. Our family enjoys the ribs, baked potato soup, and the kids love the chicken tenders. Great for families because kids eat for half price on Sundays.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Reading Area. Every time we visit Austins we have great service and wonderful food. The atmosphere is very dark and romantic. They offer great specials during the week. The servers share tables in this restaurant so the service is always at it's best. One of my favorite dishes at this restaurant is the shrimp pasta saute. I also enjoy their baked potato soup and from someone who is a steak lover they have great steaks. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food.
