I live in the Narberth/Penn Valley area. Recently I was looking for a place to order food from for my son's first birthday party. I needed food that young and older children would eat, but that adults would also like. I also wanted food that would be "nice" since some guests were traveling quite a distance. I tried Carlino's, which many people raved about, and I didn't care for it. I didn't want the expense of some of the fancy catering places and I didn't want to have to drive into the city to DiBruno Brother's for the food, which I did for his christening. Anyway, a friend suggested Fratelli's and both my husband and I (who are both Italians) LOVED it! The subs are amazing - served on excellent bread (the best I've had in Philly) with gourmet, fresh ingredients. They were just what I was looking for - much nicer than turkey subs from your average place, they were gourmet sandwiches and tasty crowd pleasers. The pizza is also excellent - a nice, thin crust with excellent sauce. Everyone asked where we got the pizza from and people fought over the leftovers. Fratelli's also provided great veal meatballs for the kids and a bruschetta platter that all the adults loved. We now frequent Fratelli's for lunch and dinner (they have great carry out, pre-made entrees) and I would definitely use them again for an event. I have not tried any of their other items, so I can't vouch for them, but the items I mentioned were great. I was surprised that I couldn't find any reviews on-line when I researched this place - I thought I would write a review to help other people who might be considering the place. This is the first review I've written - hope it helps.
