.

I moved into this hell hole temporarily to start a new job and wait for my house to be sold in another city. I needed a three bedroom apartment with easy commute to the Capital Complex and they had a 3bdr available.

First, they lied to get me into the apartment - they told me a messy old couple that would be my neighbors would be moving in two months (they finally moved more than a year later); they told me if I signed up right away, I wouldn't have to pay the monthly pet fee. When the pet fee showed up on the bill, they denied ever saying to me that I wouldn't have to pay it. The rent was increased for every lease period during the time that I lived there. They even added a trash and sewer fee (a total of $100/month in my three bedroon apartment). By the time I moved out two years later, they had accused me of not picking up my dog's poopoo and allowed my neighbors to blast loud music all day, every day.

The apartments are very old inside and out. The bathrooms have crappy "bath fitter's" on the tubs and the toilet tanks are full of rusty water. The refrigerator and stove must have been 20 years old. Washer and dryer were always breaking down. The carpet was new, but extremely poor quality. Neighbors were noisy, fought all the time, and had questionable character. Parking was inconvenient.

Once I sold my house, I couldn't wait to get out. But, they screwed me in the end anyway. Despite the fact that the apartment was spotless (cleaner than when I moved in), they charged me a ridiculous fee to replace carpets in the entire apartment because of pet urine stains in one bedroom. Be smart - look elsewhere. I should have.
