I will never again set foot in Panera Bread after having my vehicle with Handicapped license plates towed from a handicapped parking space in the Panera lot within 20 minutes of my arrival at the 5430 Centre Ave. Location. I had made two purchases and had my receipt. I was stranded with my service dog for almost four hours at Panera. I cannot get on public transportation or walk long distances, and my husband could not rescue me as he is more disabled than I. The tow company was completely unsympathetic, and wanted me to go to a location in Greenfield and give them $180.00 cash only. After four hours of explaining to the manager that my service dog needed to relieve herself and be fed, and that I was in serious need of medication that was in my vehicle, my car finally reappeared from the spot it was taken. Employees and customers told me that towing is a routine experience for customers and they fear a violent retaliation in the restaurant some day.

After eating at Panera Bread 5430 Centre Avenue, I went outside and my car was towed. I had my cash paid receipt in hand, but the tow truck driver refused to drop my car. Store manager no help would not identify himself or let me use his phone to call police. My $5 lunch turned into a $180 tow bill and I had to walk. Now I have to file a lawsuit against the place to get my money back. I will never eat at Panera Bread again. This place will go out of business due to their racketeering practices. It was the most horrible lunch experience I ever had.

If you like having your car towed for no good reason and like to pay $180 to get it back then this is the place for you. Plus over pice food and poor customer service. In my book thats not a winner.

    Pros: NONE

Cons: Poor service, Over priced food, Your being watched all the time, They tow your car away, they offer no help when your car is towed away

I always get the Chicken Asiago Sandwhich with a salad, half and half combo. I absolutely love the food. The prices seem a bit high but I have always received great service from the people. The offer surveys every now and then again for you to complete and get something off your next meal. Very nice little atmospher to relax and eat. They spealize in breads and make them fresh everyday on the spot.

    PROS: relaxed atmosphere, good food
    CONS: pricey for college students

I LOVE PANERA BREAD! The food always comes out so good and fresh. The prices are a bit higher than others, but i think it is worth it. The complaint I have about the chain is their drinks are mostly premade. So if you want anything with skim milk or any different, you can not change it.
