TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE at the Point Breeze location.
Rude, mean staff. Clothes were not cleaned well. Safety pins and staples all over the place. Customer service is not a priority here.

I have found nothing more than aggravation in dealing with this company. In the second time using their services, I had dropped of a suit and three shirts to be cleaned and laundered. I left said clothing in their care on Monday June 29 expecting to have it back on Wednesday July 1 for a meeting I had on Thursday. When I came in on Wednesday to collect my items, I was told that they were not finished yet and would perhaps be ready on Thursday. At this point I was agitated considering I had dropped them off on Monday. However, it was not that big of an issue considering that the meeting was set for Thursday evening.

It was on Thursday afternoon when I came to pick up my suit and shirts that I started to become irritated. I was told that they were still waiting for that one shirt to be finished and that their policy is to not separate orders. I could appreciate this policy standing for purposes such as simple ??customer convenience? but when it is because of their employees?? negligence in the care of an article that will not be returned, I have little sympathy for their policy that was correctly disregarded a day too late. I was given my other two shirts on Friday and was told that they ??could not find" the third. It was not until the following Monday when I was finally told that their company had damaged my shirt and that the owner would be in on Wednesday.
When she called me on Wednesday morning, I asked her to give me the information from the tag on the manufacturer of the shirt and size so I could call the store where I had just purchased it on sale a couple of weeks prior. I was hoping to get the information then to have this resolved as soon as possible. The lady I spoke with did not call back with the information and when I called, no one could give me the information.

This was just the beginning of a long steady course of the employees telling me they would call me back with information or have the owner contact me ending with me calling because no one called me.

This had gone on for two weeks and on the 15th of July I stopped in to check the progress. The owner asked how much the shirt was worth. I told him I had gotten it on sale but the price to replace it would be significantly higher than I paid. I gave him the replacement cost of $49.00. He wrote the amount down and took my contact information. At this point I was placated, assuming that his intention was to send me a check for the replacement cost of the shirt. After another week had past, on the 23 of July (Thursday) I came in to the store to find out why it had been nearly a month since my shirt had been ruined and more than a week since I had given my information and replacement cost, yet this still had not been resolved. They had used up almost a month??s worth of my patience and this situation was becoming absurd. I was told by the lady I spoke to, ??I leave at 1:00, I will call you before 1:00 and let you know what is going on.? This was just another empty promise and/or delay tactic that seems to be the only standing ??policy? of their business.

I am outraged that after this treatment I finally received a check on July 31st for $21.00. That does not even cover the price I paid ($35.00) for the shirt, and is not even half of the replacement cost. It is equally insulting that after the owner went through the motions of getting the cost of the shirt, he should include a copy of the receipt stating their liability as being limited to 10 times their charge for processing the article. I am certain that sharing my experience with others will cost them significantly more in revenue lost than the additional $28.00 they thought they saved.

This place lost two of my own personal garments and two garments from my place of employment. They are so unprofessional about it too! When you report a garment missing, they mumble about it being "extra dirty" and that it will come back in a few days. You go back in a few days, and they again give you the run-around. When they mess up they need to fess up! I'm not stupid I know when you lose my garments!!

In addition, this place is dirty and often closed even during business hours.

A wedding gown that my mother and I worn on our wedding day was damaged in a recent fire. I took the dress to Hohmans Cleaners in efforts to save part of the dress. Not only did they removed all the smoke, soot, and water rings; they replaced a few melted beads, pressed, and sealed my dress in a box after we saw it. It was beautiful!! Now my daughter will have a chance to wear it!! it was expensive but how can you put a price on that
