Just went shopping with my son at your Stewartstown store. Never have I met employees with such attitude. I have lived in Stewartstown for over five years now, and I never expected any over the top service, or even to see a smiling employee! Today however took the cake. I was buying a Red Baron pizza that my 3 year old wanted for lunch. It came up $6.49, instead of $3.99. Anna, (Ms. Personality) went to check on the price, and came back and said, "It is only on the thin crust, do you want it?" SO I went to go back, and Anna goes, "you going back? you take this back." I do her job for her and return it. But, right in the case is the same pizza with the tag in front of it that says family 4-cheese pizza on it for $3.99. I bring the pizza and the tag back up. Anna yells for Satan (As I call her, you call her Laurie) Satan, looses it! This is'nt the same barcode, blah, blah, etc.! And walks away. Now I am pissed off. I had to return my own product, and now I am getting a bar code lecture. I go back to the pizza aisle, where the devil is, and she starts going off about where the tag was, and this is where I took it from, and freaking out. I then cant take anymore and let the Devil know that she has the worst customer service skills in the world, and that she is losing it because of $2+ dollars! I will now never be coming back!

I just had a bad experience in this store. I didn't have my boyfriend's bonus card and asked them to scan one for me. They wouldn't but asked for my BF's name. Couldn't find it in the computer because it was entered wrong. Found it with his phone #. I told the cashier I knew she doesn't make the rules (trying to be nice to her) but i'd like to talk to the one who does. Just rhetorically. I really didn't care to speak to anyone. She became very rude and sarcastic. I said I was a store manager in York and was taught in training that employees should never speak to customers as she had. She smugly said "woo woo you're a manager". I said I will be speaking to hers and she said it won't do any good. Weis and Giant ALWAYS scan a card for you if you forget or lose yours and by the way, because Saubel's is such a small chain, I get sticker shock when I see some of their prices. I will never shop there again and my BF told me he just threw his Saubel's card in the trash at work.

I love this grocery store! They have very good prices and great deals each week. They are a small grocery store compared to Giant but they always have everything I need and it's easy to find what you are looking for in the store. They have a great deli counter and an excellent salad bar. Their meat selection is great as well. I'm so happy we have such a nice grocery store in our community.
