I have been a regular customer of Pittsburgh Nails for about 8 years now. My mother and I both frequent the salon at least 2 times a month. We absolutely adore the owner, Tiffany; and her staff. They are phenomenal! I have had many bad experiences in the past at other locations for applications as simple as a fill; however I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at Pittsburgh Nails. I enjoy their service so much that I travel from Slippery Rock, PA to Monroeville just for their services. I have yet to find a comparable salon. I would recommend Tiffany and her staff to anyone who wants a quality; inexpensive and friendly salon experience!

I drive from Oakland to this place. It is the best price even with the drive and I feel very comfortable here. Every staff member is polite although they are a quiet bunch - due to language barriers. The owner speaks English fluently but don't expect to have a huge conversation about how your office staff relationships are going or the latest character on your soap opera / TV show. Quick, cheap, and friendly. Works for me!!

I will add that my french manicure (natural nails not acrylic, etc) looks great when I leave but only really lasts about 3-4 days before it chips or peels up at the edge. I think it's the base coat. The polish is OPI. Since this has happened to me at other places I have no idea if this time is short or average...

This spot on William Penn is a new location for them - so parking is a breeze now! Before they were on a corner around a curve on a very busy street so I will agree it used to be really bad but No More!! Hooray!

They are very rude in here. The parking lot is a complete nightmare. Not friendly at all. I needed a nail fix and usually go to a different salon, this salon wasn't busy so i went there. Never again.

Hi , I am the person who is responsible for the business . I read the review for Pittsburgh Nails. On Rhonda's review, she said that every time she came for a fill and she got ripoff. It sounds like she came more than once even though she felt like it was rip off. If she felt like it was a rip off , why did she still come back again for a fill? It doesn't make sense, does it?

Pittsburgh Nails has been taking care of my nails since I moved to Monroeville five years ago. Their work is always high quality, they are friendly and their prices are competitive. Recently they were chosen as the 2nd best nail salon in Monroeville by the local paper. If I had known about the voting I would have voted for them for first place.

Everytime i went here for a fill they would take off the existing nails and charge me for a full set without telling/asking me first. I had my 5 yr old daughter with me once, the lady came over and took her to a chair and started to do her nails for her. Then charged me! She never asked me. There was no one else in there so I thought she was just killing time. I didn't know she was painting the nails or i would have declined. The parking is very limited and hard to get in/out of especially with busy traffic.

PROS:
CONS: Untrustworthy
