We don't have medical insurance so we had an easy cash transaction here. The staff was helpful and it was good to be able to see different bath chairs on the floor. For a little less than $200, we purchased eveything we needed to adapt our bath for our elderly mother. This included an adjustable chair with a back, a non-skid mat, two support handles installed on the bath tiles and a shower spray nozzle. The installers were very friendly and professional. I would be pleased to use their services again as I have need.

I use a CPAP and went to Heron in Downingtown where I got my machine. The problem arose when I noticed that Heron had been charging my insurance company $200 per month to rent the unit plus a "co-pay" of $40 per month for which I was responsible. When I checked online I realized that the machine they were renting me only cost $600. They had been collecting this "rent" of nearly $3000 a year for over 3 years for a machine that cost only $600! When I asked them about it, they said that the rental cost included maintenance on the machine. I told them that the machine had not had any maintenance in all of the three years I'd had it. They got very rude and refused to listen to reason. I finally got satisfaction when I got the insurance company to call them. I was frustrated with their policy of collecting much more money than necessary but even more frustrated with the rudeness and stubbornness of their customer service.
