Went for breakfast since I have heard so much about how wonderful it is there. The waitress was inattentive and not personable. It was pricey for breakfast. $30 plus tip for 2 adults and a 5 year old. We didn't order a ton of extras either, just a meal each. The potatoes were very good, but for a diner-style restaurant I expected more value. Probably won't go back.

Pros: Potatoes Layonaise (SP?)

Cons: Pricey

Never had a bad meal yet! They have the most wonderful pancakes! Even president Obama loves them enough to have these ladies come to the White House to make them for him and his family!! Serving size on pancakes caould increase by 1 or 2. Everything else is of great size for lunch and dinner!

Obviously, if you're looking for a fantastic breakfast in Pittsburgh, you go to Pam's. You'll get good food at all the locations, but the best are in the Strip and Oakland. The food is always prepared better at these two locations and the menus are more complete. I'd recommend the strawberry hotcakes or Tex-Mex omelet.

I love this place!! Classic food, and the vanilla Coke is to DIE for! The Linconburger was great too. The prices are great, and you get a ton of food!

I know tons of people that love Pamela's, but I just don't get it! It's super greasy, and the "butter" they use (on everything!) is this weird orange stuff in a squeeze bottle.

One word: ick.

I always end up taking my friends to Pamela's for Sunday breakfast. Though there's usually a wait, it's well worth it. The corned beef hash and crepe pancakes are unusual and delicious items, and the rest of the breakfast menus is delightful as well. Neat 50s atmosphere and fast service makes this place a classic!
