Recently I was given a diamond that has been in our family for generations. Not huge, but of great sentimental value to me. After visiting the "big names" in the area where I was given a catalog to look through, I found the type of setting I wanted online by a Virginia designer, Hugo Kohl. I was delighted when I discovered there was a jeweler in this area that carried his designs - Henderson & Company! From the moment I walked in I was sold. Anne helped me choose the perfect ring to showcase my diamond - I felt as if I was talking to a friend. The price was perfect - the ring was ready for pickup in less than a week. Henderson & Company will always be my jewelers!

Recently my husband and I celebrated a big anniversary and he suggested that we upgrade my engagement ring. He didn't care whether we upgraded the stone in my current ring or purchased a new ring. The only requirement was that I do some shopping and then take him to see my favorites. I visited three stores and no one seemed to want to spend time with me to help me through this decision. In one location, my questions were answered with "I don't know". I was discouraged. I relayed this story to a friend and she mentioned Henderson's Jewelers. I had gotten a recommendation about them a few years ago from a different friend but because I wasn't in the market for anything at the time, I forgot about it. So off to Henderson's I went. I met Anne and David and immediately liked them. They were the first ones to actually listen. They spent time with me discussing both options. Through this process, Anne and David were very patient and very helpful. I am thrilled with my ring and I highly recommend Henderson Jewelers!

My husband and I have been going to Henderson's Jewelers since 1999 when we bought our wedding rings from them. We were referred to them and have not gone anywhere else since. Anne & David are great people who are there to make you a happy customer. No pushy sales, no price gouging, just good, quality jewelry and great service. They helped me design a ring from scratch and David said "no problem." It came out amazing and I receive compliment after compliment about that ring.

Recently a friend was shopping for an engagement ring and was having trouble with the "big box" jewelry stores. I referred him to Henderson's and he called after his first visit and said "Thank you so much, I don't need to go anywhere else, they gave me so much information and told me all kinds of stuff I needed to know."

Quality, value, customer service are highlights of this company, but Anne & David are the true gems!

Anne and Dave have been good friends of mine for many years, and they are the only ones I will let touch any of my jewelry! They both have a keen eye for the unique. Good, quality stuff is their forte..much better than the "mall" stores! I've sent many friends and family to them and everyone is always thrilled with the results. Thanks guys!

Outstanding & much better than a majority of other jewelers! Anne & her husband Dave both really leaned forward to help us. I had originally bought a beautiful 1c (color E) diamond from them 3 years ago for a great price. Surprisingly, I ended my engagement and still had the ring. Then a few months ago I decided to get engaged again. Well, they really worked with me and I returned the ring getting more store credit than I had thought I would and also avoiding having to sell it myself. This time I was looking for a special engagement ring that included a large, highest quality aquamarine center stone. Anne did a great job getting in 7 of them of different shapes and sizes. My fiancee picked her favorite (the one I liked the most too luckily), which is an amazing 4.6c oval cut, and woked closely with Anne to pick the setting she liked the most. The ring came out absolutely amazing! It has 7 diamonds on each side and the white gold ring looks great too. My fiancee and I couldn't be happier. Plus, we got the exact ring we wanted, custom selected and custom built, for way less than we'd have spent elsewhere. Thanks Hendersons!

Henderson & Co. Jewelers in Mechanicsburh, PA was great. Anne and David own and run the shop. They are very friendly, know their gemstones and diamonds very well, and will work with you to get you exactly what you want and stay within your budget. I liked how David's work bench was right there in the store and you could see how he made rings and settings and he is happy to explain all about it. I was originally attracted to Henderson (I came up from Baltimore) because they carry fair trade gems and I was sure I was in the right place the moment I walked in and absorbed the atmosphere.

Mr. & Mrs. Henderson were wonderful! They explained things so completely and were willing to order in multiple diamonds for us to see in person that matched the specifications we all agreed upon. Gorgeous stones, very willing to help, and FAST service! Will be back!
ALSO, had two rings replated, were fast! and competetively priced without all the waiting!

David Henderson designed and created a diamond ring for me using the stone from a family ring. He is very talented and creative, and I am thrilled with the finished product. What I particularly love is that I was able to use the gold from two family rings, which has a lot of sentimental meaning to me. There aren't many people in the area who will do this specialized work. The store itself has some very nice contemporary pieces for sale at reasonable prices. This is a family owned business. David and his wife, Ann, are wonderful to work with.

I have known Anne and Dave about 15 years. Last year (2009) I decided to re-marry and my fiance and I went to their store to pick an engagement and a ring set for us. We were very pleased with the selection of diamonds and Anne's explanation of all the factors involved when choosing a diamond. In early 2008 I took my fiance to Hendersons for a diamond pendant, and she was quite pleased with the service and selection. I have sent several friends to Anne and Dave and they have all been very pleased. Prices are reasonable and any problems were corrected to our satisfaction. We've taken numerous old rings and jewelry for re-setting/cleaning and have always walked away happy. We highly recommend a visit to their store...we think you will be very happy!

The Henderson's were wonderfully helpful and flexible throughout the process. They were extremely attentive when we picked out the ring and made the process, from beginning to end, extremely user-friendly. Payments were not an issue and they made affording the ring she really wanted feasible for a person on a tight income. I recommend them most highly!

Henderson & Co. is the only place I go for jewelry! As friendly as the neighbors next-door, Dave and Anne Hendersen offer a good variety of styles, from modern to old-fashioned and everything in-between. And it's reasonably priced, even compared to online vendors. Having been obsessed with jewelry for some years now, I've been around the block - locally, online, and even at Jeweler's Row in Philly. Now I know to head straight to Dave and Anne's for jewelry and repairs.

Dave is a masterful goldsmith, producing beautiful results. I once asked him to remodel a ring without affecting the sentimental inscription inside. It was no surprise when he pulled it off. Fine jewelry is like miniature artwork. Don't go to someone mediocre - Dave's your man.

As for those perplexing decisions in choosing just the right piece of jewelry, both Dave and Anne are very helpful in guiding me in the direction I'm wanting to go. They seem to be able to read my mind. Whatever you're looking for in fine jewelry, you'll not regret going to Hendersen's.

Henderson & Co. did an amazing job on the engagement ring my fiance purchased there for me. David and Anne are so friendly and helpful with whatever you need. My diamond is absolutely beautiful and was sold at a very reasonable price. I have recommended them to all my family and friends. Thank you both!

I checked out Henderson & Co for an engagement ring based on the recommendation from her best friend. I had done quite a bit of comparison shopping online and other area jewelers and was pleasantly surprised to find their prices were extremely competative with the online retailers and were considerably better than the large chain stores for both the diamond and the setting. David and Anne worked patiently with me to put together the perfect ring for my fiancee. She wanted a unique setting and David put it together superbly. She absolutely loved the ring and couldn't be happier. I'd recommend Henderson and Co to anyone and will certainly shop their for my future jewelry needs.

The staff at Henderson & Co. is knowledgeable and friendly. The owner does all the work just 10 feet from the sales counter. He will explain anything you ask about. Sometimes too much! If you want a craftsman with lots of experience and know how, he's your man. The selection is like a boutique with unusual gems & a lot of it is made by the owner right there in the store. We were surprised at how reasonable his prices are. We recommend Henderson & Co. Jewelers to anyone with high standards.
