I liked the staircase as a concert venue because there's lots of room for people on the first and second floors. The bar is fully stocked, however the drinks are overpriced.

It used to be that when you said Staircase, everyone would be awed and expect to hear about a fabulous concert by a national name band. It was a class establishment and a destination for a complete evening. Now, it's just a detatched spiral staircase decorating the front of a generic, empty music hall. Sure, cheap tickets for has-beens or local headbangers trying to land a recording deal pack in the very young, but when you go out for a night, you don't want to hang with blue collar Joe's and sleazy high school girls. The place is roomy enough, with a well-stocked bar, but beyond that, the only good thing I can mention is a huge parking lot. They actually have the nerve to sell tickets to see local singers, without their bands, that I wouldn't even want to see for free in every other small town bar in the area.
