20080622 - Dave Iglar Band at Paradise Beach, Neville Island. Any day on the beach is better than a day anywhere else. Even if that day happens to be on a river beach. Paradise Beach is a combination, bowling alley, bar and restaurant with outdoor activities such as a volley ball court, horseshoe pit, BBQ pit w/ covered eating area, an outdoor bar with a stage, tables, lighting complete with sand. You can pull up in your boat dockside, get off, eat, drink and enjoy some fine live music. Speaking of that, lets get down to business, music business that is. The Dave Iglar Band happen to be playing this sunny afternoon(at least it was for a while) and Dave on guitar, his daughter, Andrea, on Sax, got right down to it. The band plays a mix of rock, blues, rhythm, some classic southern rock etc. While I enjoyed the blues tunes the most, they played all equally will. I have to tell you, Dave is a very animated performer, he gets off the stage and literally right down to your table or stool, this I like, not too many performers do this anymore, not sure why? We had a great time, you need to get out and see them perform. Local talent like this is where the actions is so get out and see them and you will not be disappointed. Check their web site, www.daveiglar or www.pittsburghbluesconnection or the BSWPA calendar for their upcoming gigs.

Pros: This is right on the Beach, a homemade one, but really kool!
