Vetri Restaurant

This is one of the only expensive restaurants that I have eaten at that has been worth every penny. It was wonderful. Every plate. Two things I remember most: were the sommelier kindly recommending a delicous bottle of wine for LESS than what we said we could spend and the dessert with the lavendar ice cream, chocolate and warm olive oil. Amazing.

Have you ever sighed and found yourself smiling as you ate? Have you ever realized that it was the cuisine doing it? Then you've been to Vetri. Mind you, it's not cheap, but the cuisine (it would be an insult to call it "food") is beyond compare.

PROS: Memorable, exquisite dining
CONS: Procuring a reservation--others have discovered it!
