Vader's should always be an alternative to any "big box" store. The same items will cost no more, often less, and comes with incomparable friendly help. This old handyman has been relying on Vater's for so long (25-years) that the car drives itself there for items big and small, professional advice, and surprisingly simple solutions to seemingly complex problems. I have gotten some beautiful Christmas lights at Vater's Hardware that I didn't see anywhere else. It is a fairly large store with a hugh selection of hardware items. The staff there is very nice and helpful.

This place is locally known as Vaters - and has been there for at least 50 years. they are one of those great hardware stores where no matter what you want, you (or at least one of the people who work there) can always find it. Also their prices are excellent andthey usually have specials that no other place can beat.
