There must have been more to the below story than meets the eye. The owner is a lovely woman, passionate about the food they serve and the service you receive.

I'd like to start out by saying, we eat at the Rainetree at least once a week in the summer and about once a month in the winter. We have NEVER run into any difficulties with service or rudeness. There was an occasion where my husbands steak was not cooked to his liking and not only did Lisa ( the owner) take his plate and make a new dinner for him, but she took mine as well and brough me a new dinner so that both dinners came out at the same time warm, and didn't charge us for the dinner in err and while we were waiting, we were brought a glass of wine for the delay.

Also, as a frequent diner of the Rainetree, They do not have a bone in Rib-eye on there menu, nor do they offer Fettuccine Alfredo, so, maybe the below partron, was either at the wrong restaurant or has issues herself.

I saw the same review on Trip Advisor, so I reviewed the profile because I had a hard time understanding such a harsh review, and the below Andrea person, has left the same review for 3 restaurants, so possibly the the owner of Amici's isn't far off by saying YOU are difficult customers, If in doubt, check it out at Trip Advisor.com Andrea 3795, before you judge

Witch. That??s my impression of the owner and manager of this restaurant. Wow. Be very careful if you complain or question her?? Look out, she??s got a broom and she??ll use it as necessary to thrash you into believing her restaurant and her food is the best. We??ve eaten at this restaurant on several occasions. The first time, it was good. This past time, however, our experience was less than favorable. My husband ordered the ??bone-in? rib-eye cooked medium. It came out without the bone and well-done. Was he supposed to eat it anyway? Our waitress picked up the plate to return it to the kitchen. He then ordered the filet, cooked medium-rare as, apparently, their ??medium? was more like well-done as already proven. This time, the meat came out was with a cold, red center?far less than even a ??rare? steak should be served. The owner came over to our table, grabbed the plate and rudely barked that she would go back in the kitchen and cook it herself. No apology for the error in the temperature in the meat, but rather a malevolent glare blended with a smidgen of attitude. When she brought back the steak, I made the mistake of asking her about my food. I had ordered the fettuccini alfredo with shrimp. The alfredo sauce had a very unusual texture ?? very grainy and gluey. I asked her if they had used flour in the sauce, to which she barked, ??No, it??s the parmesan? as she stormed away from the table. Hmmm, if indeed it was the parmesan, she may want to consider purchasing a higher quality version. Needless to say, I didn??t eat the pasta, but paid for it anyway. Obviously, one isn??t to complain about her food (remember the aforementioned broom)! We won??t go back to this establishment, ever.

This is a very lovely restaurant. They have seating overlooking a quaint brook; and, the food is just excellent! They serve lunch and dinner. Yum, yum.
