I love Panera and go there whenever I can. Things you should try: chocolate croissants, asiago focaccia, tomato and basil bread, cinnamon bagel with hazelnut cream cheese.
The 'pick two' specials are great and priced just right. They also have a private room for parties or meetings, which doesn't cost you, you just need to reserve it in advance. Some of the salespeople are not as friendly or knowledgeable as I think they should be, but I overlook that for the great fresh food.

I love Panera! The food is reasonably priced. They have a great variety of soups such as black bean, garden vegetable, chicken noodle and my favorite french onion which you can get in a bread bowl. Their salads are wonderful also and this makes for a great healthy lunch. They have wonderful sandwitches too. The service is fast and you are in an out quickly if you are in a hurry.
If breakfast is your kind of think they have a great selection of bagels with different types of cream cheese such as rasberry or hazlenut. My favorite is the cinnamon crunch bagel with hazlenut cream cheese yum! The variety of pastries keeps you coming back for more and the fat free berry muffin is very good for those of you that are being health conscious. A nice hot cup of coffee starts your morning right.

PROS: yummy food and quick service

Best lunch idea is the You Pick Two: two items from among a bowl of soup, half sandwich or half salad ($5.25). The Greek salads good, with lots of feta, real Greek olives and not too much dressing.

The other bread products are not as top-notch as the sourdough. A croissant is light and puffy rather than layered and rich. Many of the breads rely more on added ingredients, such as cheese and herbs, for their interest instead of simple bread goodness.
