I recently visited sopranos as it was highly recommended by multiple friends. I walked in with my family on a saturday night to a full dining room and An aroma that teased my tastebuds. We were immediately greeted by a friendly staff and taken to our quant table in a comfortable authentic Italian cafe setting. We brought our own bottles of wine and the staff was quick to equip our table with wine glasses and corkscrew and Frank Sinatra played in the background. I perused the menu and was amazed at the options of authentic Italian cruisine. Our server was quite knowledgable about the menu and answered all questions as well as recommending multiple favorites. We were delighted to learn that every dinner was made from scratch. I ordered the sopranos italiano, an amazing mixture of mussels, scallops, clams, and shrimp in a white wine sauce over pasta. The portion was HUGE!! I was amazed at the authenticity, no restaurant in NYC has ever compared to this meal! My family had the chix valdostano, again amazing! And also a large specialty Boli, again amazing. We finished off the meal with cannolis made in house. Our entire experience was perfect. Authentic cuisine, very friendly staff and cafe setting for a perfect ambience. Anyone who has left a negative review needs to return to sopranos and beg for forgiveness or continue dining out and missing out of the best kept secret of lebanon county and possibly central PA!

Sopranos has good food but the staff is incredibly rude. Every time I am there I always take my food to go because I don't want to stick around. The employees always have attitudes and do not view customer service as a priority.

..but to start on the positive, I will say that we really enjoy the food, and truly, the waite staff is very nice.. but the blonde woman (owner?) behind the counter and the teenager who, based on her attitude, may very well be her daughter, are definitely rude and don't really seem to care if you like it or not. Still, we continue to go, for lack of anything better in the area. But always look forward to trips to NYC where we eat Italian at Il Violin on the upper west side, 56th & Columbia.. they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome & the food is awesome!!! So I'd give 1 star based on (lack of) personality & 5 for the food & waite staff... so..3!!

I have lived in Palmyra for about 6 years now. Im originally from upstate NY...lived in Brooklyn...know Italian Food. I have never worked for Sopranos nor do I know anyone who does. I have to say...I have been to Sopranos with my family several times as well as have taken food out and I have always been treated rudely. I went back again last year to give them another try and again was treated rudely. As for the food, they are inconsistent. Please dont be offended, but for people who have eaten real italian food, this place is nothing to brag about. For some of the locals, I can understand why they think its great. Hey, I dont know real Mexican or Indian food and I like El Rodeo so Im sure many people would say the same about me. One thing I dont understand, is why would you want to be rude to people. I refuse to go there again, as well as Bartolos pizza, for the same reason.

Wow what happened to Mr. Rogers? He must not be talking about the Sopranos in Campbelltown Pennsylvania that we know and love. My family and friends frequent there often and have walked into a friendly and pleasant environment. From the owners who man the counter and cook to the wait staff, we have always been treated like family. Whether there has been two of us or ten we always have a great time. Where else can you go to a family run business that serves made from scratch authentic Italian dishes at a great family friendly price. Sure its not a banquet hall and I bet a large group may not always be seated right away but they do their best to make their patrons comfortable. I don't know what Saturday Mr. Rogers was there but every time we go they are full. I'd rather wait at Sopranos door for half an hour on a Saturday night then Olive Garden. To actually say that one hopes they go out of business is a bit out of line. I'm sure that the twenty dollars Mr. Rogers was going to spend on pizza at Sopranos will not put them out of business and if he and his family never go back then more room for us. To actually go out of your way to slander a well established business on line may seem a little childish to most. If you don't give Sopranos a try you're missing out on one of the best kept secrets in Lebanon County.

I would not go back to give these people any business. Brought my family in from out of town, a total of seven people and they would not accomodate us at all! The place was not even that busy.
Would not move a chair to fit us to one table. We walked out. No one cared a bit. Plenty of other quality choices in the area. I hope they go out of business.

For the best Italian dinners, go straight to Soprano's. Meals are served in huge portions and a timely manner. They have the best pizza in the area. The dining room is cute and quaint making for a relaxing dining experience. Anonymous below obviously seems to have something against the restaurant staff (perhaps an ex-employee who was upset when she left the restaurant). The owners are courteous and go out of their way to make their customer's happy and the cooks are very sanitary. I highly recommend Sopranos to everyone.

Very recommended. They offer many different Italian foods. Good food, great place to eat in. The staff is generly very nice, although there are a couple people I don't particularly care for there. Other than that, great place to eat.
