I remember going here in years past and enjoying the experience. Now the sushi is only fair and the service is adequate but not friendly. We will likely not return.

Pros: convenient location

Cons: non-spectacular food quality

.

Ate there in 2007, can NOT recommend it at all.
Companion and I decidedly agreed that quality and quantity fell below all other Japanese restaurants in the Lehigh Valley area. Extra Small portions and not fresh; service lacked. Waitress never checked back if everything was okay. This restaurant is not what it used to be. Sad.

Madam Butterfly is an excellent choice for upscale Japanese cuisine.

Madam Butterfly is an excellent choice for upscale Japanese cuisine.

Pros: Excellent Food, Excellent Service

.

If sushi is your weakness, prepare for your knees to buckle. There are other items on the menu, and from what I have seen and heard, they are excellent as well, but the real draw here for me is the sushi bar. They offer a wide selection of specialty rolls in addition to more traditional sushi and sashimi fare. Fresh wasabi is available. For dessert, the green tea cheesecake (yes, cheesecake) is certainly worth a try, as is the plum wine. The service is always exceptional. Reservations are recommended for dinner on the weekends. Free parking is available if one is willing to walk a few blocks, otherwise parking is on the street and/or metered.

Pros: pleasant ambience, nice location, great service

Excellent, fresh fish; one of the few places that serves fresh (as well as powdered) wasabi; excellent service; a quiet and gentle atmosphere; unrushed; we have returned many times
