We just had a party their for my 8 year old. It was great. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or easier to deal with if they tried. Very accomodating. The kids all had a great time. There were some other groups in with us but it wasn't an issue. I wish they would code it so just your group would be ranked so we could see how they did within just our group instead of all the players. I'd highly recommend this place. The only downside was the pizza wasn't delivered on time but that was an issue wit the pizza place...not Laserquest who was as mad about it as we were...and that was why I considered giving a four star instead of five but their reaction made me not hold this against me. Great for an active bunch of boys for sure!

At Laser Quest it is possible to have a nice fun, clean, fair game, but it is unlikely. Inside they a have miniature arcade with a couple basketball games about 3 racing games, and 2 gun games to keep you pumped for that great game of Laser tag that you are about to participate in. Guess what, half of them were out of order, and another one stole $2 from me. It was packed, but that a Saturday for you. The game itself was horrible. The players were so un sportsman like, it BLEW MY MIND. Gangs of teenagers were chasing people. Say they targeted you, they would shoot and follow you everywhere, I mean, sure you could pick one maybe two of them off, but they other few would get you. And then they would surround you, wait the 5 seconds for you to come back to life and shoot you again. And if you got cornered, there was no escape. And at least a half dozen of the 30 who played had shirts over their vest so they couldn't be hit. If you were unlucky enough they might shove you, or rip your gun from your hands, leaving you defenseless. And hey, maybe you got away, and found your nice little corner where no muggers are insight, so, you get shot by the group of members camping at the only vantage point in the place surrounded by a seemingly laser proof fence. Now all of this would probably be corrected by a just staff member at you Laser Dome or your Laser factory, RIGHT?!? Not here. There is one staff member to patrol each match (A Marshall) which just kind of wonders aimlessly around, not noticing the beatings and cheating. SERIOUSLY, other places have 3-5 staff members at vantage points and walking around. But of course you can not get any sense of direction, because every wall has a mirror or a window and it is almost impossible to tell the difference. But would make this any "funner"? How about we put smoke machines at random spots to blind you. Enough with the negative. If there is anything to get out of this review of Laser Quest in Reading it is this, to win, bring a double XL black shirt with to wear over your vest, 6 friends with the same, and go beat the crap out of people in the dark, smokey, dead ends where there is obviously no authority. Just go to the Laser Factory instead - http://www.thelazerfactory.com/

I love this place for something that you and your friends can go and do something different than the same old walk around the mall. Now the only thing is price a little high for teens if u dont have much money but the good thing its worth the money cause inside is big and fun playing the laser tag and once u get hit the vibration on the pack is fun.

PROS: FUN TIME
CONS:

Laser Quest of Reading, PA, is an excellent place for a party or if you just want to have some great fun. The laser guns are great, the atmosphere is cool, with game rooms, etc, and nice staff. Secluded rooms for private parties are available, and in the laser challenge room, they add steam so you can see the lasers moving through the air. Truly a fun experience, with good competition games, also. It's a very fun place, and if your child is looking for a place to have a party, this is an excellent choice. Enjoy, everyone! I highly recommend.

My sone went to a birthday party this weekend there. It was great, only draw back is that the back pack things you have to wear are bulky and heavy so if you have a smaller child it can weigh on their back. Really clean place too. Alittle loud at times but what fun place isnt.
