Original Tavern House

Mediocre mexican food. Be careful on the sodas-REFILLS ARE NOT FREE. They come in a small hi-ball glass that once the ice is removed give you about 3 sips of beverage. Waitress kept coming by asking if I would like more Coke- sure. Beverage wound up costing more than the meal.Building dates back to Revolutionary War, in the heart of a small town that is slowly trying to bring its main street back to life.

The Tavern house offers a lot of Mexican fare, mixed with a bit of American flair. The seafood is usually fresh tasting, but a little bland for a Mexican place. Great drinks and great prices, and not really that busy.

Parking is limited.
