Jims Steaks

I've had them from everyone in town, and this place takes the cake. Hands down, the absolute best cheese steak on the planet (everyone knows you cannot get a cheese steak anywhere else but Philly, its ours get your own food)! Go to Philadelphia, forget the Liberty Bell, take the South Street Exit off of 76, Go to Jim's, gorge yourself on pure goodness! Forget Pat's! Go to Jim's, the best cheese steak I know.

Jim's is the place to go for cheesesteaks in Philly. It is a unique eating experience, there is usually a long line, but it moves fast. The steaks are great -- have them Philly style "wid wiz."

Not sure many folks know about the dining room upstairs, you have to go down the corridor and the steps look like they are for employees.

You'll come out smelling like a cheese steak, but that is a good thing. Standing in line you'll watch a mountain of steak and onions (you sandwich) getting ready with a SPLASH of cheese wiz out of the can. Take it up stairs and enjoy your steak while watching the crowd pass by. Better then Gino's or Pats anyday.

I never give out five stars unless you are deserving. I grew up around the corner from Jim's on South Street, and have tried all the others. Jim's is, by far, the best. Pat's, Geno's steaks have pieces of unchewable fat and grissle which make it not enjoyable.
Plus, you can enjoy yor steak on the top floor, ovelooking South Street. Mouth watering good cheesesteak!

The cheesesteaks from Jim;s are some of the best you will ever eat. Its right on on south street, so the location is great. Don't be intimidated by the line. It usually wraps around the block, but it moves fast. Its worth the short wait!
