Acorn Valley Pet Boarding

I've tried several other kennels and Acorn Valley is the only one that I know of that lets you take your dog back to the run. For us that was a big plus. Its almost like you get to "tuck them in" before you leave. The people are very nice. Its not the closest kennel to me but its worth the drive. They let you bring your dogs own food if you prefer.

We have been very happy. We have just recently moved here from Maryland and were still taking our dog back to Maryland when we needed to board her. We tried another boarding place in the area and were very disappointed-our dog was very skid-dish when we picked her up and did not like her stay there. We then asked our vet and he recommended Acorn Valley. Our dog is very happy there and we feel that she is happy and she is safe while she is there. All staff have been very friendly. It is hard enough to leave your pet-I feel much better now knowing that she will be well taken care of while we are gone.

Acorn Valley is a top notch pet boarding facility. The care that is given to your pet is OUTSTANDING. If it had not been for Acorn Valley I would have had to give up my two Rottweiler's a few years ago, but because of the kindness of the owner, I was able to keep both my dogs, because at the time we had no where to live. I will always be grateful for the care and love you showed to my Magic and Holly. I highly recommend boarding your pet with Acorn Valley, it is always clean, your pets are well taken care of, and they receive the biggest ingredient they need LOVE while your away.

Acorn Valley Pet Boarding is a nice facility to board your dog. They have indoor outdoor runs with the inside portion being climate controlled. The prices are good and include food. They do take your pet in a caged in area to play with them once a day. The only downside is they frequently will lose toys you leave your pet with. Friendly staff.

PROS: Nice Facilities, friendly staff.
CONS: Tendency to lose dog toys.
