EXCELLENT PET CARE EXCELLENT QUALITY PET CARE
I was truly impressed with Blais Vet. The staff is caring and compassionate and Dr. Blais is extremely knowledgeable and caring for pets. My cat Tiger was hit by a car and I called Blais and they took me to come right in. When I arrived the techs took Tiger right into the exam room and Doc Blais arrived immediately. They took x rays and kept me informed of every move they made with Tiger. They called me before they did the surgery and as soon as he was out of surgery to let me know he was doing well.I was able to go visit him and when I picked him up they advised me of Tigers after care instructions for his broken leg and his scraps. They even called me after I took Tiger home to see how Tiger was doing! This vet hospital is like a REAL human hospital! In many ways, BETTER! I wish I could find a human doctor to give me the attention and care that Blais gave Tiger. Tiger is now running and playing like his old self. Thank you Doc Blais and staff!

My dog Gizmo got into a fight with an opossum and he had several lacerations on his body along with a large cut over his eye. I brought him in to Blais Veterinary Hospital without an appointment they were pretty busy but they immediately took him to the treatment area where the techs stopped the bleeding and kept them comfortable until Dr. Blais could take a look. The receptionist apologized to the people in the waiting room explaining that there was an emergency and they didn't seem to mind. They cleaned him up and stitched the area over his eye and another wound on his side and gave him some antibiotics and something for pain. Gizmo was pretty shaken up but Dr. Blais' warm and caring attitude made him feel better. The techs were awesome coming out every few minutes to me in the waiting room to tell me how he was doing and kept me informed of what was going on. The next day a member of the staff called to make sure Gizmo was doing OK and I received a call a couple of days later to check on him. When I brought him back in to remove the stitches they treated both of us like we were old friends. Gizmo is doing great and is back to his old self but is steering clear of the wildlife! I will be coming back to Blais Veterinary Hospital from now on. I would highly recommend Blais Veterinary Hospital to everyone!

Our 10yr old dog Molly had been to 2 other area vets because she had a serious problem with her stool. They would put her on the famous boiled hamburger and rice and an antibiotic. Well after a month of that (which it did not clear up) I came home after work and Molly could hardly walk. I called her regular vet and he was off for the week hunting. So I called Blais Veterinary and let me tell you I talked with Bill and he was so compassionate and caring and was able to get Molly in the office within 30 minutes. Molly has been overweight her whole life and I have tried lots & lots of dog food and she would develop gas or the be so uncomfortable from a belly ache. So Dr. Blais (my hero) asked so many questions about Mollys condition and did a very very through examine. The diagnosis was that Molly was a "Hot Dog" meaning most of the "junk" I was feeding her made her belly hot which in turn created all the other symptoms she (and I) was experiencing. So he put her on the "Hot Dog Diet". The diet is absolutely the most amazing food I could ever give Molly. The main ingredients are canned rabbit, turkey or duck or sardines. Tofu and broccoli, celery or spinach and additionally bonemeal and nutrients to support her good health. This diet fits Molly perfectly, she has lost 4 lbs in the last 3 weeks and she is so much happier. She used to sleep 80% of the day and now she sleeps half that. Molly is more alert, her skin and fur feel so healthy and she is just the in the best condition since starting this journey with the hot dog diet. I give the diet 5 STARS and Dr. Blais and the staff well 5 BIG STARS they are the BEST, they truly care and they are dedicated to the well being of animals. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you!

My dog Cheerio loves going to Dr. Blais. His relationship with her is outstanding! The care that she receives and the attention is impeccable. I have never seen a more efficient vet hospital than Blais Vet. I use to think it was just my Cheerio, but I have sat in their crowded waiting room and watched the love that is given to each pet that comes through the door. Dr. Blais really knows what he is doing! Great place wouldn't go any where else. Rick...Blairsville, PA

Dr Blais and the staff are the best. I have been to others in the area and they are not. My pet is the most important one in my life and I want him taken care of, and when I have a question between appointment I can call or stop by and they will answer it for me. The staff is well informed and are thorough in check-ups. They caught an issue that the other vets did not, and he was well within a month. Now no longer any food issues, and my baby is much better for it.

Dr Blais himself is very experienced and knows what he is doing. He is very concerned about the animal and truely wants too do the best for them. His experience helps because he know what to do with most issues with the animals.

I am very pleased with Dr Blais, the staff, and this Veterinary Hospital as a whole. Everyone should give them a try.

We have a cat that is always dealing with constipation. We took her to Dr. Blais for another opionion. I have never had a vet that has called to see how she is doing and Blais Veterinary Hospital has called twice to check up on her. Very caring staff.

Dr. Blais is amazing! He has been taking care of my kids for several years now and has always been the most caring, compassionate vet I've ever been to. His staff is excellent and you can tell they really love their jobs .. this is important because it shows they care for animals. You can tell Dr. Blais is an animal lover too as he talks to them like they are his friends.

You can always get an appointment too. Even if they are booked up, they will find a way to work you in. Nobody is ever turned away because they are too busy.

Thanks to Dr. Blais and his wonderful staff, my pets have stayed active and healthy for many years.

The doctor is very nice as well as the staff, but the hospital itself is very run down and old looking. They don't have a lot of the newer treatments, or technology. Their prices are a little higher for their services than other vets in the area. They do give very good care to your pet though, and have a very good educational system (they have videos on a wide variety of procedures and health issues).

I have a dog that had been being treated for a sore paw at another vet for two months, with no progress. So I thought I'd try another opinion...well after Doc Blais checked out my dog he knew exactly what was wrong, Within one week there was significant progress. My dog is today back to normal chasing frizbees just like he always did and loving life! Doc Blais saved my dog's life! I would refer Doc Blais to everybody I know!
