Not only can my PreK child read just about anything but the teachers go above and beyond to make your child feel at home. My boy says "Goddard is as good as Dave and Busters and Gamestop."

They look out for the needs of each individual child. My son needs an in-class assistant. The county was supposed to provide this person but did not have the staff to do so. After months of waiting, the owner took it upon herself to hire someone to be my son's assistant and get reimbursed by the county. He is thriving at Goddard.

They are running an great program at Goddard Newtown. Both my girls have been there since they were 2 months old and have excelled in school since. We can tell that they are advanced for their ages and we attribute that to the phenomenal staff at the school. Everybody is very caring and we are kept in the loop with what they are learning. My wife and I couldn't be happier.

I could not be happier with the care and education that my six month old son receives at The Goddard School in Newtown, Pa. He is truly excited to go to school each morning to see his friends and teachers and he has been since he started attending the school at 6 weeks old. He smiles and giggles as soon as we walk through the door and he sees his teachers smiling faces.
It is quite difficult to have to leave my son each day but the faculty at The Goddard School really puts my mind at ease. There is no doubt in my mind that my son is not only well taken care of throughout the day but he is also loved. I am kept very well informed, as the school sends both me and my husband photos and videos of adorable things my son does during his school day. I especially love the pictures of him participating in art projects, enjoying story time, playing with puppets and dancing to music. Each afternoon we receive a detailed report outlining each and every activity my son did. It also includes all of the pertinent information about his diaper changes, naps and feedings.
It was important for us to choose a facility that was more than just a daycare. The education of our son is very important to us and at Goddard they start teaching and preparing lesson plans in the Infant classroom. They are exposing him to the Spanish language, teaching him how to communicate using American Sign Language, playing music from other cultures, encouraging him to enjoy tummy time and so much more.
I highly, highly, highly recommend this school for any child 6 weeks through 6 years old. The teachers are such loving, compassionate and enthusiastic individuals who are highly skilled and qualified to provide the best in early childhood education. I couldn't be happier with my decision to join The Goddard School family.

We moved into the area and had little time to find a daycare. Newtown Goddard seemed a good option and had decent reviews. My daughter came from a wonderful Little Friends School in Hamilton and she thrived there. Being a shy girl, she opened up and was finally willing to communicate, play and interact. The moment we put her into Goddard school she turned into a stressed out preschooler. We had doubts about the school, but were uncertain. We liked the director but teachers were unfriendly to say the least. They will never greet you or your child when you bring her in. They are just hanging around. They do not have a good grasp on kids, nor they make a connection with them. They are present but minding their own business. They are unable to calm and comfort a child... They do what looks good on paper - letters, numbers, ... But in reality it is done without heart, just on paper. Soon after my kid started crying at nights, you can see she is looking for attention. Finally one morning she went hysterical holding to me and begging not to leave her there. Needless to say I had never seen her like that before. The bottom line - STAY AWAY BY ALL MEANS. I was expecting at least some effort considering the huge price tag - almost double of what we were paying in NJ for school two times better. I think the good reviews come from people who either drop kids of there for couple of hours a day and that wouldn't matter as much, or from those who had never seen what a daycare can be like...

Have two kids, a niece and a nephew. Very nice facility and faculty. Great deal of emphasis on socialization, core values and learning. My wife and I researched many schools before deciding on Goddard. We have been happy since day number 1 and would guide others to the school

Research this school very carefully. The co-owner of the school was convicted of arson at the school with very disturbing circumstances, and the owner and management didn't tell parents about this incident for 7 months. Ensure you read coverage of this incident before placing your child in this school's care.

We moved here and had to find a school right away that could help us while we were sorting things out. THe kids really like it and they welcome kids with learning differences. They made all the efforts to accomodate us, and it is safe and clean. They are not huge academic pushers, but they do work on social skills and that was great for our kids. They have :specials"" like computer class and a ""clown"" who comes to the school. THey have theme parties and show and tell days. They are not an ""ACADEMIC"" type of school like the Montessori type. but if you are ooking for a place where kids need to be kids-this is ideal. The camp is fine but our kids played on hard top and got contant scrapes/bruises etc. I would only recomment the school not the camp.
