South Hills Village

If you like a large variety of stores, South Hills Village is not for you. They have the basics like JcPennys, American Eagle, Gap, and such but they don't have small unique stores. I would just rather go somewhere else.

South Hills Village was also a favorite place to shop, but in recent years, more speciality stores are moving in, and therefore the prices are going up! The toy store is one, there is only one bookstore now, etc. While all of the changes are small, the mall isn't as family friendly as it used to be.

While its not the biggest, fanciest, or most trendy mall around, "The Village" has one thing going for it--it hasn't been taken over by pre-teen mobs, and hasn't turned into a haven for gangs. Located in a good area and taken care of by the management, it continues to be a popular shopping spot, and has a good selection of clothing, jewelery, and home stores in addition to Sears, Kaufmanns, and Macy's.
