The food at this restaurant was very good, the menu is huge with many typical Italian selections, the service was poor (we waited at least 30 minutes for our food and we ordered dinner at 9:00 pm!), and the wine selection was paltry (they had a huge list of wines but the wine cellar was bare--they finally accomodated our 5th choice.

The first few times we ate here it was wonderful...the staff was pleasant and were ready to oblige 'special' orders (off the menu) I had scallops sauteed in lemon butter w/veggies and spaghetti w/marinara on side and it was delicious albeit expensive. My mate had manicotti or ravioli and was pleased. The foccacia bread prior to meal along w/various dippings i.e. olive oil, an eggplant dip which was delicious and a white bean was terrific. Now that your appetite is whetted - THEN...either, cooks, staff, management or all three changed and gone was the focccia and two of the dippings - not to mention, the scallops were awful and the pastas were tough and not good at all. The staff was 'surly' and I was promised by the manager that a 'tiramisu' would be saved for me after dinner. It wasn't and no apology was given. That was that...

The food here is decent but is nothing to get excited about. The food is pricey and you do not get your moneys worth here. I think olive garden is much better as an italian resturant!

Mario and Luigi's is an excellent Italian Restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the food is even better. I love the 20 clove garlic pasta and there are more than 20 cloves in it. The bar is great and the salads especially the gorgonzola dressing is phenomenal. This is a great place to go for an anniversary or a special event.
