My family and I have been going to Seven Spring for as long as I can remember. It is the best skiing in and around the Pittsburgh area. If heading out west or to the north east isn't in your budget, you should consider Seven Springs. And this resort is not just fun in the winter time but has hiking, swimming, golf and more in the summer. Make sure you go for a ride on the Alpine Slide. There is something for everybody at Seven Springs.

PROS: A little over an hour from Pittsburgh area.

You may think of a ski resort being a place for winter trips but seven springs has things going on all year long. There are hiking and biking trails, great ski slopes, cross country sking and sledding. If you are more of an indoor person seven springs has a bowling alley great resturants and an indoor pool. There is live entertainment in the bar and the hotel rooms are clean with a beautiful view!

I've spent many vacations here. During the winter this is a great ski resort, but during the summer it's a great place for families. There is so much to do. They have an alpine slide that goes down the mountain which is great. They have pools, volleyball, tennis and more in terms of sports. They have great food, especially the Friday night seafood buffet and the Saturday night meat buffet. The rooms are nice because within one room there is actually two rooms - the two beds are separated by a door and the bathroom. There are activities for the kids and the adults. There's an arcade, a bowling alley, putt-putt course, and more. There's just a ton of things to keep everyone happy. You can also just hike or bike around the mountain to see the views. You're guaranteed to have a good time.

This is a beautiful resort nicely located offthe Pennsylvanis turnpike.They offer many festivals like the Fall Festival and Wine Tasting Festival.There are several areas where they have live music.The restaurants have fabulous buffets.The lodge is more expensive than staying at the bungalows on the hill.There is a free shuttle from the bungalows back to the main area.

PROS: Nice getaway for skiing or relaxing

This was a great ski resort! I went as an advanced snowboarder and my wife was a beginner. There were good slopes for the both of us! We spent New Years there and had a great time. Recommend this place!
