Several years ago went into this dealership once to comparison shop a new car. Was treated like we were dumb and tried to work us right from the start. Spend less than 20 minutes then just walked out.

Now there is new ownership and I see a used car for sale that I am interested in. Salesperson was easy enough to deal with until it came to trying to nail down a deal...the advertised price was wrong...we're going to lose money...just so you know that this deal is too good to be true and if you leave you miss out as the price goes up tomorrow...car has been sitting for 5 months, but the manager has been using it as his personal car, that's why it hasn't sold...etc... Total, complete BS and lies. The worst part? It's still at the dealer at the advertised price that they are 'losing money' on. So much for the pricing being a mistake and 'going up as soon as you leave' - the price was too high still anyway which is why I was attempting to negotiate further - I was not unreasonable. My problem was that I was educated and they didn't like that.

The are just another typical car dealer with an attitude towards anyone who has a clue. All they needed to tell me was - "No, we don't accept your offer" instead of trying to pull some mind-play crap.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. At the onset the experience was good. The salesperson was attentive and was providing good service while the deal was being made...which would be expected. The problem came a day or so after I picked up the car. I had to contact the salesperson multiple time to obtain the additional set of keys he claimed to have. At first he claimed they were in his desk, then at his home and the finally he claimed a co-worker had them. As it turned out there wasn't another set of keys. They finally pulled an old remote (that didn't belong to the car I purchased) from a desk drawer and programmed it for my car. The salesperson in stead of apologizing copped an attitude when I confronted him about giving me the run around while two what I think were managers stood there watching and never offered an apology. I would NEVER recommend Nissan of East Providence!!!!!!!!

Nissan of east providence was ok to deal with when buying my husband's car. I feel we got a good deal with them. The con of course would be the car salesmen. They worked with us. We wanted a quick transaction and to have the car right away. I woud recommend this place and probably go back myself.

PROS: Good deal
CONS: Salesmen
