My 20 yr old daughter saw a sign out front for "$20 oil change" and stopped to get it. They told her that price was for the "cheap oil" and her Hyundai Accent required the "good oil" for $32.95. Then they looked up her car and told her that instead it required 7 quarts of oil and would cost $44.95. The car is a 2008 Hyundai Accent that requires 3.5 quarts of oil. These scumbags thought they could take advantage of a young woman. I am glad I educated her about these type of things. Avoid this place.

For the most part, you can buy things for your car with no problems. But when it comes to the service center i had problems. I took my car here last year to be fixed. I asked them to check out the car and tell me everything wrong with it. A couple thousand later my car is sitting in my driveway not working.

Most Pep Boys are great about providing service, But this particular one has twice tried to bill me for "extras" not explained before the work was done. I went in to get a new battery and was given a battery wash to extend the life of the battery. When asked what it was I was told it was the stuff put on the post so they didn't corrode. I told the man for the price they charged, I could buy 2 large jars of vaseline and apply some to the post and still have 2 full jars left. They also wanted to charge to top off the fluids. Which I also refused to pay the service charge. I now only go to them to buy items I can install myself.

Pep Boys is the place to go if your car needs to be fixed or if you need some other kind of maintenance. They are quick and easy to work with. The prices are good and they even have some free services.
