#1 has had compressor problems for the past few months with no activity to be seen. What becomes of their customers who had been loyal and have warranties. They are no where to be found. It is a shame, since the mechanics were aces and now where are they working? I feel it is a disgrace to those who paid for services and now have no where to go.
I brought my 2008 Cadillac STS in and spoke with Joe. Joe is one of the best service persons I have ever dealed with. He wrote up a work order and told me he would call with an estimate before any work was performed. Within 2 hours Joe called me to tell me his lead technician Bob had verified my complaint and found the problem the reason my service engine soon and traction control lights were comming on was due to a number 6 cylinder misfire. the fix was a coil and the total repair cost including diagnostics was 235.00. This car had been to 2 Cadillac dealerships 5 times and could not diagnose the problem I was having. A very good friend of mine recommeded #1 tire and service to me stating thay were the only people who could fix the problem with his 2006 Corvette. I am most pleased with there service and will allways be their customer for life. Thanks Stephen Johnson for employing the best in the field.
Pros: Fully certified ASE and RI CIRT the best
My first experience was many years ago when I was told by a mechanic (that I knew and trusted) that I needed 4 new tires. I left his garage and went to Number One Tire for an evaluation of my tires. They said they were fine and I was on my way. Since then I have had my car serviced and inspected with efficiency. Recently I had a problem with the heater in my 2002 Subaru. I brought it to Number One Tire and Joe, the manager, told me that they found a coolant leak in the head gasket and that it was a problem that Subaru had identified in 2004 and sent ot a notice to affected Subaru owners. I never received the notice (which Joe printed out for me) and he urged me to go to Subaru because they should be responsible for fixing it. I did and although Subaru said my car was not affected by that notice they got approval to fix my car for free. It ended up taking 1 1/2 days to fix it which would have cost me well over $1000. Joe could have just diagnosed the problem and not told me about the Subaru notice. I would never have known. Instead he was honest and directed me back to the dealership. I would recommend Number One Tire without hesitation.
I was over charged and they didnt even fix the part they were suppose to. I ended up going somewhere else and saw the "fixed part" which was broken. They are not good. End of story.
I went in to have a repair done on my car. They were able to tell me what was wrong with my car in the simplist terms. They may not always have the lowest prices but they are certainly priced within the range of other auto repair shops. They certainly do incredible work there. I would never go anywhere else. I really enjoyed that they went above and beyond the call of thier duty. I have never been to any other auto repair shop and had this type of service.
Stay Away from these thieves, I brought my car in this morning for an inspection and was called an hour later telling me it would cost 900 dollars. I said to hold on so i called the dealer and got a price for the same work for 379.00 so when i went to pick up my car at number one tire i was charged 125.00 because they looked at it. I am outraged, my wife used to take her car their but no more. I will do everything i can to discourage people from doing business with these dam'n theives
Thieves! Tried to charge me over 300 dollars for a repair I got done for under 100!
Arrogant and overpriced.
I will never do business there again.
