We were very pleased with the service we received on our 2003 Saab. The detailed description of everything you did was fantastic. You were able to fix things the dealer told us would be impossible to do. For that we are very greatful. We have already told our friends about you. Thanks so much. Vic and Judy
If you feel like getting a bath this is the place. My engine was damaged while in this shop for repairs. After I paid the hefty bill in full the car would not run without the check engine light staying on so I brought it to a dealer to find out what was wrong. The Volvo dealer diagnosed a valve seal problem. I gave it back to Hans so they could fix their mistake . Hans kept it for another month hoping it would go away by itself. One can of Engine Restore at every oil change was the Hans Magic Fix. The real solution was 2600.00 out of my pocket to the Volvo Dealer for a permanent fix.
While at the dealer they also had to redo some of the repairs I paid Omar to do . Stay away from this shop if you value your time sanity and wallet. Trust the dealer they have better prices and technicians.
I have been a client for 19 years and followed Omar to North Kingstown as did many others. If you want the job done right he is the man, if you want it done cheaply and not well, he is not. He stands behind all of his work. He also saved me money by letting me know about a factory recall that I knew nothing about.
Pros: honest, quality, warrenty
Cons: none
All we wanted was an oil change and lube.
it took ahwile but come to find out our car doesnt even have grease fittings yet we were charged for grease//lube for the fromt end.
I'll change my own oil from now on. I could have done t myself twice for the time it took.
Pros: -
Cons: Pricing in this economey
I have been going to this shop for years, back when it used to be in Wakefield. The bills break down everything, very accurate. I have brought multiple cars here to this shop and always am very satisfied. The place might be a a little messy but that doenst refelct the quality at all. Alot of people just wnat cheap repairs, if you do, dont go here, if you want quality go here. anyways honest owner, great work.
Pros: Service,Management,Repairs
Overpriced messy shop. Seem like gold diggers to both my wife and myself. Going back to Inskip. At least we get a car wash with the bill there.
Sometimes you have to listen to your gut feelings. We thought the shop looked as dirty as the workers.
Horrible hacks- Don't be fooled my this shop. HAN'S IMPORTS ----- "WAS" ------an excellent shop. However, Fulton Martin who goes by his middle name "Omar" purchased this shop approx 7-8 months ago and is taking a ride on the coat tails of the old owners good name.
I Towed My VW there and 4 MONTHS LATER is getting towed back out......Thats not the worst, I have to pay well over 2000.00 for they/re trail and error which DIDNT fix the car. I was a master auto tech previous & this was a good lesson learned! Do it MYSELF- I have a court case pending in Dec 2007. They also left this topless vehicle outside in the rain for all that time. Police were also involved last week. My vintage VW is ruined. He also is insisting only on cash, and will not take credit cards
Pros: NONE
Cons: ALL
Gave my ancient 1987 BMW a thorough engine tune up, fixed a starting problem and fixed an oil leak that had mystified repair shops for the past 4 years and all for less than half the price another shop quoted me. The friendly mechanics did a nice job explaining the why of what they were doing and noting what was optional and what was necessary. The owner (Hans) is German and the shop seems to specialize in German imports.
