Walt's Roast Beef

Sometimes people dont realize that what they think may be cute, may be a hazard in a restaurant. Chilren shouldnt be running or skipping around. They could slip and fall or cause someone else to, and props to the manager.

My family and i are consistant customers of Walt's and it wasnt until this past friday that i decided i will never be going to Walt's again. I am the mother of a 1 and a 1/2 year old and for a place that claims to be "family friendly" i dont find what i am about to explain very "family friendly" My daughter was playing with her toy dancing around not causing any trouble running back and forth a little bit i was stadning right by her side the whole time. The manager said that i would need to tell her to stop running because there were older people around and she didnt want them to get hurt. Mind you she didn say please or thank you. I then picked my daughter up but with her being 1 and a half she did not want to be held. I then put her back down and told her not to run. Well as a one and a half year will do she ran a little bit turned around and laughed so as i wwas walking over to here the manager came out from behind the counter and said to me " you know you really need to control your kid" i had to bite my tounge. I found that to be extremeley rude. I was keeping and eye on her and i feel that she had no place to be speaking to me the way she did.

We go to Walts Roast Beef for lunch once in a while. They have great sandwiches with toasted rolls. The place is clean and the service is friendly and fast.

I do recommend Walt's Roast Beef. I love their sandwiches. They have good prices. The fact that the roll is toasted makes it even better. They offer a variety of sizes and things on their menu. And the kids love this place too. I like that they have different sauces to put on top of the food too.

Walt's is famous for their roast beef sandwiches and delicious french fries. They also serve pastrami and turkey sandwiches as well as fish & chips (on Wednesday and Friday). This is a sit down family-friendly restaurant a few steps above fast food places but similarly priced. A great value for the quality!

PROS: Decent menu choices, fairly priced
CONS: The majority of the items are buttered and/or fried
