First for the atmosphere....pathetic! A little tiny shop that was so dark I had trouble filling out their masssage form. The bathroom was clean enough but had damaged ceiling tiles and the place over all was very run down and cheesy. No

I've had really, really good massages before and Spadyssey probably just made it to the top of the list. A friend went there last month and was raving about her massage. Then last week I moved in an awkward way and must have done something to my muscles because I ended up with slightly painful knot running up and down my back.

After a day of discomfort, I decided to give Spadyssey a call. The receptionist was pretty knowledgeable and recommended the deep tissue massage. One the day of my appointment, I arrived about 15 minutes early. I walked into soothing music and pleasant aromas.

I was welcomed by the receptionist and invited to have a seat. She gave me a form where I could indicate the areas I needed extra attention. I must have circled five areas.

While I was waiting to go in, a couple was leaving and they had smiles on their faces and said they loved it and would be back. That only served to make me want my massage even more.

My therapist greeted me and brought me into a massage room that had a beautiful Asian decor. I was asked about my trouble spots and ensured that they'd be addressed. After getting onto the table, the therapist came back in and began warming up the muscles on by back which felt heavenly (I don't why I don't get massages more frequently).

The pressure gradually increased and my muscles began to feel like butter. I could literally feel my knots melting away. I would classify my therapist as I learned about knots that I didn't even know I had and how various knots caused other knots in other places.

I was on the table for no more than 10 minutes before the pain in my back was completely gone. I couldn't believe it. The rest of the massage was icing on the cake! The scalp massage was just as good as my hair stylist. halfway through, I asked if I could extend my massage to a 90 minute, but was unable to do so. After the massage was over, I was urged to do some gradual deep breathing and to stretch. There was a bottle of Figi water waiting for me at the receptionist desk, which was a perfect punctuation to a perfect massage.

I have already booked a massage for next month and this time I'm getting the 90 minute. The staff is great, the massage was great, and I would have given spadyssey 5 stars if it were a larger space (the massage rooms themselves are spacious, which I liked). Overall, it's a great little spa in a great little city.

I went to this spa with 2 friends after viewing the website expecting a relaxing spa experience. I was concerned as soon as we walked in the door and saw the tiny area for the pedicures and manicures. We waited almost 30 minutes for the staff to get off the phone and begin our massages. Before my massage began I identified the key areas I wanted the therapist to focus on, apparently he didn't listen or forgot this. My friend was to receive a 60 minute massage, her therapist rushed thru a 30 minute massage then left with no explanation. The pedicures were done in a tiny area by the reception desk, the area was not calming or professional. They used cheap foot baths anyone can buy at Walmart, they filled these tubs with a bucket of water. Electrical cords were exposed and I nearly tripped climbing into the cheap chair on a pedestal that was used for the pedicure. There was no "warmed multi-vitamin cream" massage or "strawberry soak". No beverages were offered, in fact no mention of the importance of drinking water after the massage.
My friends and I were completely disappointed in the experience at Spadyssey.

Spadyssey gets 4 stars. I know a lot of people say this, but it really was the best massage that I've ever had. I had Alicia for my massage and she has the magic hands. Very thorough, detail oriented and yet at the same time very floaty and dreamy. Every minute that I spent on that massage table felt like a week that passed by.

I also had a Europa facial with Meryl who is very good and she did well with the extractions which I really like. Melanie did a great job on my manicure during which the staff surprised me with a delicious red velvet cupcake from my hubby.

Spadyssey has a friendly and well trained staff. Parking was close by and free, which is big for downtown Providence. They've been around for six years which says a lot to me. Our anniversary is coming up and I'm going to surprise my hubby with a couples massage in their couples room + plus a couple of those cupcakes.

I just had the most amazing massage and facial of my life. I really can't even describe the feeling that I have right now, I just hope that it never wears off. :)

The massage was spot on and detailed. I learned about knots that I never knew I had. The girl that did my facial had amazing hands and did a great job with the extractions!

Spadyssey isn??t a huge spa, but it??s a great one!

My hubby got me a gift certificate for Christmas. It was actually for a couples massage. We loved it. I was going to wait till Valentines day to use it, but my shoulders were really aching, so we went last week.

It was the best massage that either of us had received. Ever. The place is cute... not a huge spa at all... and we loved the couples massage room.

My husband said that his massage was incredible too... not just good. I felt like i was sooo relaxed and in space or somewhere. I don't think It will be long before our next visit.

The staff seemed busy, but still friendly and attentive. )

Pros: tried spas in providence. spadyssey has the best massage!

I'm must say I encountered a rather bitter experience at the local spa. Beautiful women, poor service sums up how I feel. I left feeling discontent, and wanting to ask for my money back. Bathroom cleanliness was also poor. I would recommend some of the other spas located in the city, honestly.

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Providence to visit our daughter who is in school at Brown. She surprised us with a wonderful package to Spadyssey and without exaggeration, we had two of the best massages and facials ever.

Prior to Spadyssey, the best massage that I had ever received was at Parrot Cay. Spadyssey was better than that. I'm sitting here wondering what words I can use to describe experience without sounding effusive.

We were in Providence for just under a week and I had two massages at Spadyssey during that time. I really wanted to make sure that it was really that good and both massages were out of this world.

I get massages fairly regularly and now I'm wishing that we lived closer to Providence! My husband and I are going to return the favor to our daughter by surprising her with a gift certificate to Spadyssey for the holidays.

If you are looking for the very best in massage, your search is over.

Pros: World Class Massage

Ok, I just had to write this. My services were soooooo good! I left feeling like I was in heaven.

I asked for the 90 minute massage, Europa facial and eyebrow threading and was in the same room for all of my services. I came in because of the great special they have for a massage and I'm very glad I did.

The massage was the most fantastic one that I've had in a long time. I've been to some of the spa's with bigger names and their massages didn't come close to spadyssey. The facial was wonderful. My face looks years younger and I feel great!! I didn't know that there was a place to get eyebrow threading in providence. I am super excited about that!

Thank you for a relaxing experience. I felt as if I was on vacation. I really, really needed a break from the world of go, go go!. The music played softly and it felt like I was falling and falling into the deepest sleep. It was over too soon. I will be returning for another visit next month with friends and I will probably pick a gift certificate for the holidays.

I loooooved my massage and facial! It was a birthday surprise and I was totally caught off guard. My boyfriend and best friend teamed up to get me a gift certificate to Spadyssey. The spa is on the smaller end, but my services were delightful. Spadyssey is easy to locate on Dorrance st, parking is free on the weekends.

I run everyday, and hadn??t had a good massage in months. I got the one hour swedish massage and it was just what my body ordered, needed and craved. My therapist hit every spot that I highlighted on the body chart and even found a bunch that I didn??t even know existed. The pressure was great, not too much and not too little.

I swear I was drooling at different times. This was by far the very best massage that I have ever received. The attention to detail on the back, neck, scalp, hands, legs was meticulous. I was in heaven! It lasted for an hour but it felt like a day. So, if you are looking for the best massage in Rhode Island? here you go!

The facial was sorely needed as I hadn??t had one this year, and I never go this long without one. I had the one hour Europa facial and I was glad to see that they use the Pevonia product line. The Aesthetician was very skilled and was able to answer the myriad of questions that I posed. I emerged feeling cleansed, relaxed and completely rejuvenated. If you are not looking for a large spa, then I highly recommend Spadyssey. I??ve been back once since my first visit. I consider Spadyssey my spa now and thought I should share my experience.

Pros: Best massage, great facials

.

Dropped in for a facial. There are several for $85 (60 min), and a cheaper 30-min one. My face isn't a warzone, so I wanted the simple facial. You can probably imagine what I ended up getting charged for...

Having told the receptionist that, she set it up. While I was waiting, I checked my voicemail.

Walked out of the facial, checked the time, and the receptionist said it'd be $85. Interesting, because the time on my phone was only 40 minutes after my voicemail call.

I told her I'd meant that I wanted the 30-min. one, and that was only 40 min. so why was I being charged for a 60-min. She said, "No, you were in there at least 50 min." (Impossible, unless the entire AT&T mobile network entered a time warp during my facial!)

She went on to inform me that facial times can vary due to how long the masks are left to set. Cute, but I've been to spas all over the world, so that little explanation didn't cut it with me. It also failed to justify a time variance of 16% by her watch, and 33% by mine.

I paid for the service, and left--only to return 10 minutes later to request a partial refund. If I were going to pay $85 for a facial, why didn't the receptionist even bother to ask which one of the $85 services I wanted? I just paid $85 for a service that I didn't even ask for or choose?? With no request for clarification, even though the receptionist clearly didn't understand me???

She agreed to credit my card with $20, as a compromise. The gracious thing to do would have been to offer that to me BEFORE I'd paid and left the shop, but nevermind.

Four days later, I see the charge for the entire service on my card, with no partial refund as the receptionist had assured me would happen.

I've just called and left a message about the mix-up, and if it isn't properly resolved, I'll be left to dispute the entire charge with the credit card company.

The spa's answering service is really strange, too. It doesn't even say it's a spa--just a guy, maybe the owner, stating his name.

Pros: Pleasant staff

Cons: Customer service, Professionalism

.

the staff was pleasant, but the overall experience was awful. the only enjoyable treatment was the facial, although it really only consisted of steam, a mask, and a facial massage.

the massage was extremely painful. i felt too badly to speak up a second time that it was too hard. the worse part was this slipcover net thing that they use to "sanitize/protect" the headrest. it was extremely itchy and not the best thing to follow up a facial with! the whole time my back was being massaged, i was moved up and down increasing the scratchiness. i couldn't wait to turn over to my back and then, although relieved from the itchy face problem, i had to mask that i was in pain and uncomfortable.

the next treatment that i had was a pedicure. the spa does not have real pedicure chairs! it was a shorter back chair and a foot bath was placed in a special cut-out area of the pedestal. i was extremely uncomfortable when a menthol mask was applied (on a January day!). I was very itchy with the plastic bags on, and my legs weren't stretched out but it was like i was sitting. my toes did look pretty when done, but i had to wash my feet twice at home to warm up and lose the menthol sting!

my final treatment was a manicure, which was nice (she did do long massages on my arms and legs which were nice, but at that point in my trip i just wanted to go home). however, i felt rushed out after my manicure. i'm sure i could have stayed for them to dry, but there was no offer and there was no air dryer. needless to say, they smudged on the way to the car and i had to take the polish off. (i'm not blaming them for the smudging, but an offer to dry would have been nice).

i was offered water (i was hoping a beverage when i came in!). the bathroom was pretty old and gross. there's a shower in it which is weird. i also expected a robe for 4 treatment day. the most painful part was tipping (i'm a nice person)! i'm sticking to hotel spas (same price, pool, robes, drinks)!

Heaven on Earth!

I went to spadyssey recently and scheduled the Symphony No.5 package (Massage-Facial-Manicure). I had a good mani, a great facial and an absolutely incredible earth moving massage. I have had massages before, but this was out of this world. They took such great care of me that I was glowing head-to-toe. This massage was like nothing I have ever experienced before. It was more than a massage, it was like discovering the fountain of youth. The therapist knew exactly where I felt stress and every muscle seemed to melt like butter. The pressure was perfect, the aromas where relaxing and it felt almost transcendental. My body never knew what it was missing until this experience. Next up is another spadyssey package, but this time it will be a 90 minute massage.

The Best?

My girlfriend started school at Brown University this year and she has been raving about getting massages at Spadyssey. For thanksgiving break I drove to Providence to pick her up. When I got there, she surprised me with a gift certificate for a massage! It was the most aaaaamazing thing! I have been getting massages regularly for the past two years, and the massage that I got at Spadyssey rivaled all of them (I?ve been to the best spas in New York as well)!

I went into my appointment bracing my expectations because of all of her ?hype?, but now here I am joining the fan club. Providence is a cute little city, and Spadyssey is a great gem! It has been a few days now and I?m still floating. I?m jealous and hope they open a Spadyssey in Manhattan.

As for the style of the spa, it is similar to what you would find in SOHO. It was clean, warm and smelled very lovely. The massage rooms are nice looking and have a lot of space and the table felt like a cushy cloud. But it?s the massage that will have you hooked. This is what a massage is supposed to be like. Spadyssey has the blueprint.

What an awesome little spa! I recently had a spa party at spadyssey for a friend that was getting married. There were eight of us in all and spadyssey went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. The customer service was exceptional and the services (facials, massages and nails) were heavenly! Directions and parking were easy (parking was free, and just across the street, which was important since there were eight of us). The staff helped us organize everything and made my life soooo much easier!

I was an active athlete in high school and college, and felt that this was one of the best massages I've ever had. My friend?s hubby said that she raved about her massage while they were away on their honeymoon. If you are looking for the best therapists in the state, then you definitely have to give spadyssey a try. It's a smaller spa (no jacuzzi?s or saunas) but they are big on service. We're hooked!

Words fail,

I was an active athlete in high school and college, and felt that this was one of the best massages I've ever had. My friend?s hubby said that she raved about her massage while they were away on their honeymoon. If you are looking for the best therapists in the state, then you definitely have to give spadyssey a try. It's a smaller spa (no jacuzzi?s or saunas) but they are big on service. We're hooked!

Words fail,

Debra

Pros: Great facials, best massage ever

.

Spadyssey is a cute spa with some awesome services. Without a doubt, this is hands down the BEST PLACE FOR MASSAGE. Not just in Rhode Island, but anywhere my husband and I have traveled. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. We received impeccable service. When I had called to book our first appointment last March, I informed the receptionist that it was our anniversary. She then asked me if we would like to have any of our wedding songs played during our couples massages and facials (I was blown away and inquired more!) Upon arrival, we were gently welcomed and greeted by the staff and in just a few minutes we were ushered into a beautiful double-sized spa room designed just for couples. I chose to be on the side with the Asian decor, and my hubby was on the side with eastern Indian motifs. The tables felt like we were floating on clouds and the facials and massages were incredible (as I said before, after several years of massage, this easily topped the charts!) What made it even better was that after 5 or so minutes, our wedding songs began to play. It was an amazing experience. They are not the most expensive spa in Providence (which is the good thing). We definitely got our money?s worth and then some. I have since been back several times (once with a girl friend, a co-worker and I also purchased my mother a gift certificate from Spadyssey). I get my nails done there now as well because they have a wall full of great colors and the polish always last more than a week. Ahhhhh... I highly recommend it!

Pros: service, therapists, atmosphere, aromas, ambiance

I had heard from a friend about spadyssey and how great they were so i finally decided to buckle down and pamper myself. I made an appointment to have a europa facial. i have had facials before but never one that sounded this good. When i walked in the atmosphere was very calming and the dim lights helped to relax me. The esthetician came out to greet me and she was very polite and professional. The whole facial was amazing, you could tell that she really knew what she was doing. She was very personable which made it easier to enjoy the facial. Next time i go im going to get the works, facial massage, mani/pedi everything! very enjoyable experience!

My girl friend and I had the most wonderful day at Spadyssey. Our husbands gave us gift certificates last month and presented them to us while we were out at dinner! We both had Symphony #5 Spa Packages (European Facial, European Swedish Massage and Signature Pedicure).

Too our surprise, we had the option of having all of our services together (Spadyssey calls it Two?s Company style), and we did. The signature pedicure lived up to the billing. Their techs take their time and put in a lot of detailed work. They included a great massage with a paraffin mask which made our legs and feet smell great, and feel sooooo soft and smooth. Oh? during our pedicures, we each sipped tea from the cutest tea cups that I have ever seen. That definitely added to the experience.

I?ve had plenty of facials and this one was up not the very best that I?ve had, but it was above average. They use a great product line (Pevonia), and the esthetician was graceful and did good overall. I felt relaxed and best of all my face felt a few years younger!

Saving the best for last, all I can say is that our massages were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! We were both impressed by the knowledge and incredible techniques of our therapists. My therapist got rid of knots that I didn?t even know existed. I?ve had my fair share of good and bad massages, but Spadyssey exceeded them all. It?s not even close. Our massages were so good, that we asked if they could extend them by 30 minutes and pay the difference. If you want a great massage, then Spadyssey is THE place to go.

The spa was smaller than we expected, but it reminds me of the spa?s you?d find in SOHO New York. It Overall, I?d say the look is average with above average therapists. The employees were very helpful, and they were cordial when giving directions. Parking was free and close which is a good thing. I will be heading back for more after the holidays.

Pros: Great Therapists, Best Massage Ever

.

I absolutely ADORE Spadyssey. A co-worker introduced me to them a while back. While they may not have a sauna nor a million dollar facade, they are tops when it comes to skilled therapists and customer service. I have tried a few of the other spas downtown, including a much more expensive one, and walked away wishing I was at Spadyssey.

If you want an incredible massage, facial or mani/pedi, I do recommend them. My pedicure last week was awesome! My technician was attentive and meticulous and she gave me a foot massage to die for. The color application was excellent! I would not call this a pedicure...I would call it a foot pampering experience.

The pedi room is serene and relaxing. As for massages, Spadyssey probably has some of the best therapist?s period. You will be hard pressed to find a better massage anywhere. Saturday afternoons can be busy (less relaxing). If you go on the weekend, I recommend either a Saturday morning, early evening or a Sunday.

Run... Jog... Walk... Live!

Pros: World class massage therapists, great facials too. Great staff!

Cons: smaller than the national mega chain-spas, no sauna... did I mention great massages

I received a gift certificate from my sister for a massage and facial at Spadyssey. It was just what I needed! I have never felt so relaxed in my life. The services were great and so were the therapists who took care of me that day (honestly, it was the best massage of my life).

I bought a gift certificate for my husband and myself and can?t wait to go back for their Two?s Company Massage and Facial package. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and courteous.

I?ve been to a few other spas in the area and I think that Spadyssey is the best. They don?t do hair, so you don?t have that hair salon atmosphere which really made things more relaxing in my opinion and the therapists are simply AWESOME!

I have been to many spas and this one was the worst. The only worst spa. You have to pay for parking. The good news is they pay for half, using their chosen lot. I know it is downtown and parking is a hassle but once you step in you start to wonder was the parking worth it. The spa was not so welcoming. I like a spa that is comforting, clean, organized, and has a vibe. The deco was off, old flooring and the rooms were basic. No candies!! I did not feel the comfort. After arriving I felt bad. I was 5min late. (Due to parking). The receptionist gave me something to fill out. I rushed through it thinking I was the hold up. Come to find out the therapist was running late. (was not told until 25 min later) I understood at first but 45 minutes later I found myself laying on the cold bed, in the room, waiting. Once the therapist arrived (no warning it was a male therapist) I tried to relax and understand. Half way through the massage I realized that this was not the massage I wanted. I was hoping for a hot stone and got a basic. I did not want to ruin my massage so I decided to mention it after. He was good but way to fast. When he started I looked at the clock. (highly recommend one should always look at the clock, its your money) Well my massage was only 45min rather than 60. Then I got a facial. It was a package deal. I thought of leaving but it was not fair for the facial therapist. The facial was good but had better ones. The therapist was very nice but talked to much like she was trying to sell the product. When the treatments were over I went to go pay. I told the receptionist about my experience and that the massage was not so long. She just stared and I ended up paying for the treatments full. Nothing was offered to me for the mistake they made. Well the best advice I can give you is to go to ELITE SPA in Rehoboth MA They are amazing. They offer you wine, food, parking, great service for FREE. Its a 10min drive out but its worth it.

I work at a law firm in downtown providence (stress is a big part of daily life), and I first went to Spadyssey about a year ago very much in need of a massage. I had just returned from a business trip and had received an 'ok' massage while away on my trip. I was still so stressed when I came back, that I looked up day spas in providence and found that Spadyssey was just a few blocks away. After the first 5 minutes on the table in Spadyssey, I could have cried because that is how good the massage was. My tense back, neck, shoulders and legs completely melted! I was in heaven and now I am a regular customer there.

The spa has a warm atmosphere and the staff is professional, welcoming and accommodating. I say this because my sister was getting married and I had coordinated a bridal spa party (massages, facials and mani's) for her at Spadyssey. Everyone loved it and now, finally, my friends and family can attest to what I've been bragging about for the past year. If you want a great massage, GO TO SPADYSSEY!

We had a wonderful and relaxing day! I heard many good things about Spadyssey, and now I can join those spreading the word. While Spadyssey is small, the rooms are fairly large and very relaxing.

I can't even begin to describe how good my massage was. The facial and the pedi were good too ~ however, the massage was the best I've ever had! Kudos ~ see you next month ~ Jenna

Pros: Best Massage in Rhode Island, Beautiful Rooms ~

Cons: On the Small Side for a Spa, but very much worth a visit (or two, or three :)

My 2 friends and I recently went to this spa and we were all very unhappy with our experience. We felt the staff were unprofessional, did not find the place to be relaxing and most importantly felt the spa was very dirty. The bathroom floors and sink were dirty, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, there were nail clippings and other small debris on the floor in the room where we had our pedicures, and the sheets and towels were stained. In addition, the quality of service was poor. During my massage, the therapist had to leave the room to go get something and then later another staff person walked into the room. The aesthetician who gave my friend a facial was unable to answer her questions and after waiting over an hour for our nails to dry, they were still tacky and dull. When I mentioned this to the receptionist as I was paying my bill, she seemed unconcerned and did not even look at my nails. She made excuses and did not apologize or offer to repaint them. She only offered to take a small amount off my bill.
I have a hard time even calling this place spa. The whole place seemed kind of thrown together and the quality of service was very very poor and not work the price we paid. I do not recommend this spa to anyone and am surprised it has received any favorable reviews!

I always hesitate to book massages at spas as my past experiences have usually been mediocre at best... I truly believe that to be a good massage therapist you must LOVE what you do and genuinely want to help people. So, off I went for a Swedish Massage (deep tissue) at Spadyssey. To be honest, I wasn't thrilled with the environment, as it didn't have that relaxing, zen atmosphere I expect from a good spa. I figured I would look past appearances and wait and see. Fortunately, I was mistaken! My experience was AMAZING....I had an incredible massage...the best ever. I also had a Europa facial, which was exquisite as the facialist massaged my face and neck for what seemed an eternity. I was like buttah! I would recommend Spadyssey...you are there for relaxation, not a decorating show.

I recently graduated from Brown (Yeah!), and one of my gifts from my mother was a two's company spa package to Spadyssey. My mother is an avid spa-goer, and I've been to many with her back home in New York. We had their Massage, Facial, Signature Mani and Pedi packages, and LOVED EVERY MINUTE of it. Spadyssey isn't a mammoth spa by any means, however, they are true artisans of their craft. My mother said it was the best massage she has ever had (those words don't come easily from her). We loved our facials and nail therapy as well! My boyfriend is still in Grad School at Brown, and we will go together when I am back in town.

I did not enjoy my experience at Spadyssey. I felt as though it was unprofessional and thrown together. The atmosphere was not relaxing and it did not seem like a good value. My massage was mediocre at best and was uncomfortable to me. All in all the place seemed a bit weird right off the bat and no one in our group reported having a great treatment.

I had a massage, a pedicure,a facial and a manicure..package. Cost quite a bit but I expected that. While the staff was professional..to an extent..I felt that there were areas where they lacked. For instance, the manicurist did not cut my cuticles (big part of a manicure I thought)..the owner/manager asked (out loud) how much of a tip he should add to the tab.."it's up to you"..he said from across the room..I thought he could have been more discreet. That was my experience..among other things I don't want to get into. My advice: Keep it PROFESSIONAL if you want professional crowd. I will not be returning as first impressions are hard to overcome.

We just celebrated our 6th anniversary, and each year we go to different spas (several in the U.S/a few in Europe-Asia-Africa). This year we decided to stay local and visit Spadyssey. It was an absolutely wonderful time (90 minute Hot Stone Massage, Microdermabrasion-Facial, Seaweed-Wrap [I showered after the wrap], and a Mani/Pedi. My hubby had a Deep-Tissue-Massage, Men's Hot-Towel-Facial, Shiatsu and Men's Mani/Pedi). What we loved about Spadyssey is their attention to detail, the quality of each service provided (hands down, the best massage and facial that we've had anywhere) and the high level of service that we received from the very first call to the impeccable care given to us.

I have high standards, and Spadyssey lived up to those standards. We've traveled the world, yet never knew we had a gem like this right here in RI. I know what I'll be expecting for Christmas/Valentines/Bday. :-) D. Wells

Cons: didn't want to leave

Very nice staff, and decent massage but overall we left disappointed. For one, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our appointment. The masssage was decent, but my friend also got a facial and brow wax that were not so great. In addition to the body massage, I also got the reflexology (foot massage) and this was a big disappointment. The other frustration was there was no place to shower after the massage, so you end up leaving with the massage oil still on. The massage rooms also were too cold. I had to ask for an extra blanket.

The most positive thing I can say is that the people are very nice and accomodating. I've been to many spas in several parts of the world. I won't be going back to Spaddysey.

The services and staff were great! I would recommend Spadyssey to anyone! It was the first spa experience for my boyfriend, and he thought it was great too. Now he is totally into the spa thing. I will be going back again, and again! P.S. We wanted to get in on a saturday or sunday, but they were booked, so we ended having to go on monday, so book early if you want weekend appointments.

For my birthday, my boyfriend, my best friend and her fiance went to Spadyssey for a day of pampering and absolute luxury. The spa is beautiful and each room has uniquely decorated destination themes. The services were tops in my book, and I have been to spas in the US as well as Europe.

A visit to Spadyssey was one of the best experiences I've had. I've been a licensed massage therapist for 13 years during which time i have been a colligiate level departement head for 8 years. Through all my years in the field, and all my travel this has been the BEST massage I have ever received.

Spadyssey is a beautiful spa, and they are truly skilled professionals. The facial that I had completely clear up a small rash that I had developed on my face. The esthetician knew exactly what I needed.

Spadyssey is a beautiful spa, and they are truly skilled professionals. The facial that I had completely clear up a small rash that I had developed on my face. The esthetician knew exactly what I needed.

Pros: Great Service, Charming, Clean

Your website (www.spadyssey.com) is a reflection of your professionalism too. It was one of the reasons I decided visit.

PROS: Well trained staff, Great Facials and Pedicures too!
CONS: Believe it or not, they could probably raise their prices just a bit.

My husband and I decided to purchase our longtime friend a gift certificate for her birthday. The website for the Spadyssey Spa was wonderful and we just thought that this place would be beautiful and luxurious for our friend to experience. However, when she arrived at the spa, she said that it was way too small and that it didnt look so clean. She had to wait forever to use the bathroom and I believe she also said something about the ventilation being quite poor. She appreciated our gift but she said she had to be honest with us so we don't experience that ourselves.

This was my first experience with a spa.

Though the spa was very nice and clean and the staff was amazingly friendly, I just wasn't impressed. My boyfriend and I signed up for a couple's package that involved a facial, massage, manicure, and pedicure.

Though the facial felt great, when I left the minor breakout I'd come in with was red and inflamed. Two days later, my face is drier than it was before the facial and the breakout is not much improved.

My boyfriend enjoyed the massage, but I'm too ticklish to properly review it. It left me more tense and sore than I'd started.

The manicure/pedicure were nice but the clear coat they put on my fingernails is already chipping and every one of my fingers hurts where they cut the cuticles away.

Overall, the staff was very friendly and accommodating but the services just didn't seem worthwhile.

I first attended Spadyssey last year and received the best massage of my life. I've been a regular since then.

The real purpose for my comments today has to do with the Spa Party that they hosted for myself, my sisters and several friends. They COMPLETELY exceeded our expectations and treated us like royalty. It was beyond any pampering experience that I have ever been a part of.

The attention to detail was amazing! They covered every base, and offered every bit of assistance imaginable. Everything was perfect from the Limousine, the catered food, the instant camera's and photo album (yes, a photo album!), the BudgetingSpreadsheet, your website (that's how we selected you in the first place), your amazing staff! You made us feel at home, you made us feel like family.

We are still basking in the afterglow!

See you again in a few weeks!
