O Dinis reminds me of the restaurants in the smaller towns outside of Lisbon,Portugual. There is nothing pretentious about the place, it just has a good clean homey feel to it. The waitresses were efficient but overworked, but they kept smiling and joking with us making us feel right at home. The restaurant could have used one more waitress/waiter to help them. The food was excellent and plentiful. Even our pickiest eater cleaned the plate and pronounced the food real good. We used up all the bread in baskets just to sop up the shrimp sauce from the appetizers. There were nine of us at dinner and the bill with the tax & tip (Tip already included on the bill when I got it back to sign) was more than reasonable, $270.00. Dinner included appetizers, entrees, desserts, 3 pitchers of sangria and specialty coffees. Definitely worth the trip for a good meal. The place made me miss Portugal. It would also be great if it had Portuguese music on a weekend. Try the Shrimp appetizer in the spicy sauce.
