great service, great furniture  5 Star Rating - World class

i bought a whole bedroom set from the north attleboro store not to long ago. its a great set, the service people were great. i dont know what people are always complaing about. im defiantely gonna be going back to get more furniture. and as far as delivery goes, it would probably just be cheaper to go rent a uhaul and pick up the stuff yourself.

Poor customer service. Damaged furniture.  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

The furniture warehouse store has serious customer service issues. We fell for their cheap chinese made furniture but ended up paying a lot more - our time, numerous phone calls, several rides to the store.
and the pain of losing our hard earned money.... we finally got a damaged living room set.

At their N Attleboro location, they seem to initially treat us well.
But when we called to find out why the furniture was not delivered - sales person said "come and cancel your order, if you like..!" His comments like "you are not the first one to whom this has happened.." merely indicated that they were treating non-delivery as matter-of-fact business. When the furniture was finally delivery one they arrived in unacceptable condition.

Stores like this are a scam. If you do fall for their good looking cheap furniture, you want to keep your receipt and follow-up soon if you find defects. Beware, the store has a no-refund policy. If the sales person plays hard-ball tell them that you will report them to the Mass consumer affair and protection.

To keep things simple, don not buy from Furniture warehouse, Massachusetts or Furniture warehouse, RI.

Keep driving by!  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I wish I had read the other review before I made the mistake of buying something from this company. We purchased furniture from the Westwood store. Big mistake! We have now lost 3 days of work..and still NO furniture! First we were told they only came to our neighborhood one day per week-so they pushed our delivery off by 10 days.Day off work #1- Day 10 came and I took the day off work... and I waited and waited and waited. I finally called. "You're 2 hours late (2 hours past the 5 hour delivery window!). Where are you?" The salesperson "Mary" said one of the pieces was broken-so she scrapped my whole delivery. What? You can't cancel my entire delivery for one piece that's broken. The other furniture can still be delivered. I have been a hostage in my house for 10 hours waiting! I demanded that they deliver the other pieces that day. So, 2 exhausted delivery men (not blaming them) showed up late that night. (I think they never had my stuff on the truck from the beginning). They told me the broken furniture had been re-ordered and would be out next week-they didn't know what day. For the next 5 days (no exaggeration!) I called at least once, sometimes 3 and 4 times, every day. "Mary' kept promising to call me back. Day 6-with a total attitude and a thick accent I could barely understand-she said my furniture was in and would be delivered next Monday. Day off work #2. The delivery timeframe came and went. I called. "The truck broke down on the highway with your furniture on it. You have to reschedule. Call me tomorrow." I called the next day. "Mary" said she would call me back. Never called back. I called the next day. "Mary" copped an attitude and said "it's coming Thursday OK!" Day off work #3. Well, today is Thursday. Guess what no furniture. No phone call. My husband called and supposedly talked to the manager "George" (also doesn't speak English as his first language.) "George" had no idea what we were talking about. He said he was away for 3 weeks. Where-an INS holding cell in Miami? "George" said there was no delivery scheduled and then went into a whole story about the broken furniture. Ok-that is so 5 weeks ago! So bottom-line...there is no furniture. I don't think it was ever ordered! ...And "Mary"-guess what, she doesn't work on Thursdays! To add insult to injury-they are charging a delivery fee with tax-which is illegal in Massachusetts! (My husband is a tax accountant and the sales-people kept fighting and insisting there was tax. Maybe in Tiajuana there is, but not in Massachusetts! We will be calling the Mass Dept of Revenue, as well as the Better Business Bureau.). It seems that they have been pocketing the money that is supposed to be a tax on delivery! Bottom-line-Nice stuff-if you can actually get it!

affordable furniture  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I purchased a few items from the Furniture Warehouse and was happy with the pieces I bought. The prices were reasonable for the type of future. I was not thrilled with the service there, however. I found the salespeople to be less than friendly, aggressive, and not very easy to understand (not many spoke English).
