So your hungry, your feeling the need for a slice of pizza or two, and your sick of Domino's - Papa Gino's - Or the local "GURU" - So Where do you go ?!? Whel you may find yourself Roaming through the Yellow Pages looking at the rabble of Pizza joint claiming to have The Worlds Best Pizza, and you will find yourself shorthanded on such claims - Unless you go local - and Providence hides such a hidden gem you just may overlook it in your travels. Just outside of the hustle and bustle of restaurants in the famous Federal Hill of Providence you will find such a pizza shop. Its called Fellini's Pizza, and since 1989 they have been serving up the hottest tastiest pizza's in all of Providence - Maybe even Rhode Island !!!!! So if you do decide to venture into Providence and find yourself in or about the Wickenden st. area, Stop into Fellini's and grab a pizza - I recommend Either the Meatlovers Pizza with Whole - Yes Whole Bacon strips, or the Pesto Pizza with Fellini's own pesto sauce blend and whole thin sliced tomatos - Also remember the one rule when eating a Fellini's Pizza - Its to fold your slice in half or your gonna be in a huge mess !!!!!!

Happy Eating !!! Steven Nadeau

Fellini's is one of my absolute favorite pizza places! Their pizzas are so delicious and they are open late so you can stop in after a night out. The only downside is that they are a little on the expensive side, but it is worth it.

Assorted types of original pizzas are offered here. The Shepherd's Pie pizza is especially tasty. It's a little more expensive than one would expect to pay for pizza, but they make up for that with originality.

Great pizza, great topings & bad karma!
My wife loves it so being the good husband, I volunteer to make the "trek" from Pawtuxet Village to Wickenden St.. Fellini's can't make a delivery that "far away". She called at 4:00 for a pick up @ 5:30., and for the 3rd consecutive time upon my arrival I was told that my pizza would be out in a minute and that would be $25.00 please. I hesitantly gave the person at the counter the money and asked if it was really going to be right out, or would I have to wait 20 minutes as I did on my last visit. His reply was that was not nice, and I told him that nice had nothing to do with it, it was the truth and there was no harm ever stating the truth.
At that point the Blonde woman at the oven, who I assume was the manager, upon hearing our conversation instead of opting to reassure me that in fact my pizza would actually be right out called out in a polite but cocky manor to tell me that if I liked I could have my money back. I took that option, got in my car, called Steve's on Park Ave and by the time I got there my pizza was waiting for me. I paid my $12.00 and brought it home to my somewhat disapointed wife. I told her that I had made my last trip to Fellini's!
I have been in the food business all of my life, owning restaurants, manufacturing facilities as well as distribution and the secret to sucess in business is taking care of your customers. Wake up Fellini's, your crummy attitude will take it's toll.
The Steve's Pizza may not have a thin crust but it was a delicious traditonal pizza with a smile.

Cons: Bad attitude

I recently tried Fellini's after hearing and reading such great reviews. Supposedly it's the best because it's like "NY Pizza" which I've never had except for Domino's(hate it) and Sbarro's in the mall which I like. I haven't been satisfied with "chain" pizza and was on the search for an awesome BBQ'd chicken pizza.

Pros: Great variety of pizza, Great toppings, Great balance of toppings..the sauce wasn't globbed on with a pathetic amount of cheese, the pepperoni even has some hotness and spicy-ness to it like it should have. BBQ'd sauce was great and shredded chicken was nice. Friendly and fast service, I ordered a "whole pie" and it was done within 15mins. The guy even came outside to get me when it was done.

Cons: The price! It's like $25 for a whole and $3-4 per slice. I didn't like the crust. It was tasteless, no spices or anything. It was paper thin, hard and crunchy. When you get to the end, it gets worse. Big block of thin, hard, crunchy crust. Some other review said it was "burnt"..but that's just how they make it. Kind of like a graham cracker..only harder! They make $25 look like a deal because the pizzas are so huge..of course they're huge, they flattened the dough to death! Other pizzas are smaller and the dough is raised instead of flat.

Can't say it's my "favorite". I'm now torn between this and Casertas. I'll probably go to Caserta's for my $8 basic pepperoni, cheese, bacon and olive pizza and want some dough to chew. And save Fellini's for when I want BBQ'd or Buffalo Chicken. I still think there has to be something better out here. Next I'll try that place in East Greenwich I keep hearing about.....

We have ordered delivery from this place 4 times now and every single time they have gotten the order wrong, brought the food cold or brought it over 2 hours late. If you're going to get food from this place, go there... otherwise, you may never see your food.

Fellini's is my fav by the slice pizza in Providence, but man is it expensive. They keep a good selection of interesting pies up, and get the slices heated in the big ovens quickly. Many of the good pie-folk around Providence started at Fellini's.

For a whole pie, I prefer Bob and Timmy's on Federal Hill.

Great pizza after a night at the clubs or bars. Fellini Pizzeria is located within walking distance of the Providence waterfront bars the Fish Co and the Hot Club. They sell a delicious thin sliced pizza by the slice or pie, with a great array of options. It really hits the spot after a night on the town.

PROS: Delicious Pizza.
CONS: None.

if an dwhen you are the area it would definately be to your benefit to stop in and grab a slice! The BBQ chic is fabulous and the spinachoke is great too. I reccomend all varities of this pizza actually. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat and fun. If your lucky enough to grab a seat in front of the window, its a great place to "people watch"

when i was younger it used to be a coffee/poetry house and pizzeria. it was a cool bohemian place hang out on the most interesting wickenden street. now they don't have the poetry and coffee (probably because the coffee exchange across the street has the best coffee in the world and the best staff that cares about the people who pick the coffee beans), but their pizza still rocks my world. atmosphere not as great as it used to be, but still cool little providence place to hang. love it.

Fellini's is not one of the best, but THE BEST Pizzeria in Providence. This Pizza is the most like Neapolitan pizza, which is considered the best in ITALY! Keep the thick, tasteless sauce and canned mushroom and gummy olive pizza from Casserta for those who really don't understand good pizza!!

I have been going to Fellini's Pizzeria ever since I was a toddler and frankly, it's a special treat because around me there are no pizza places worth going to. Now I am 13 and I have to say, I LOVE PIZZA. And I know for sure that there is nothing worse than bad quality pizza. Fellini's has unbelievable tasting sauce with oozing cheese on a delicious thin crust. Now, Rhode Island is not know for their spectacular pizza or anything, but if you haven't had Fellini's pizza, you have no business calling yourself a Rhode Islander!

Thin crust pizza rivaled only by Bob & Timmy's in Providence. Pizzas such as barbeque chicken, chicken and parmesan peppercorn, steak and cheese are worth the trip. Best of all they sell pizzas by the slice meaning you don't need a crowd to go there.

Mmmm...Fellini's. Great thin-crust pizza. Since I moved to New England from the NY/NJ area, this is the best pizza I have found so far (I am not a fan of thick crust pizza). The soup is really good there, as well. A bit pricey, but worth it!
