The best salon experience ever. Finally I found a perfect guy to do my hair, Wassim. For years I've been going to different hair salons and always walked out a bit disappointed. However, that changed when I entered Persia Salon. Wassim

This was worst hair experience I ever had. I was a blonde who needed some change to my highlights. Wassim assured me he could correct my blonde. He applied some highlights and turned my hair into a white grey mess. It was AWFUL. He said he could correct it. He asked me to show him a picture of hair I liked, showed him a shade of blonde and told him I pull red and I do not want to see any red/orange etc...He said no problem.. WELLLLL needless to say he turned me a dark red with a purple shade.. I looked like I had a halloween wig on it looked so fake. I told him I wanted him to get the color out immediately. He would not. He said let me do my job and put highlights in. You can sue me tomorrow( his exact words) I left there with a hair colro beyond belief. He told me he would fix it the next day but you know I would never set foot back in that salon, if you can call it that. Not only can he not produce a color even remotely close to what I asked for but it was the careless, unprofessional , uncaring manner in which he treated me. No customer service...when I left he said oh you will thank me tomorrow. Pompus and arrogant right to the end. I did not pay for this service or shoudl I say misjustice. Went to another salon rhe next day and she said I even had shades of pink and a purplish color. Do your self a BIG BIG FAVOR and STAY AWAY. There are too many salons out there where you can be treated with respect. Oh and that have stylists with talent.

Five days ago, I got the worst haircut I can ever remember receiving.

Ignoring the fact that several inches more than I asked for were taken off, the stylist, Amanda, gave me terrible layers. She took a quarter of my hair and cut an inch off, then took the other three quarters and cut two inches off. I asked for long layers, and I got literally two layers, one long, one short, and the hair in each layer was unevenly divided.

She clearly had no training, and no idea how to cut curly hair properly. She also neglected to confirm the length I wanted taken off, she just started cutting without checking, and never once offered to show me the back of the cut. I had to specifically ask for a mirror so I could see for myself. What I saw was my long hair being cut into an unrequested bob.

I returned the next business day to ask for a refund, but I foolishly let her talk me into giving her another chance. She straightened my hair, then removed the choppy longer layer, so all my hair was on one level--absolutely no layering whatsoever. At this point, I knew simple layers were beyond her ability, but I hoped that evening out the length would help.

Throughout the entire time she was cutting, she carried on a conversation with a friend, as well as entertained said friend's child. The kid was inches from my face for the entirety of my cut, but Amanda neglected to tell her to go sit down. Can you say unprofessional?

Today I returned for the third and final time, ultimately to ask for my money back. The cut was just so poorly done, it needed to be addressed. At the very least, I would be able to inform her boss how wanting her skills are.

Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, the salon owner, Wassim Chedid, was dismissive and failed to "respect the customer" to the highest order. His initial response to my dissatisfied state was to presumptuously ask me to sit down in a styling chair, yet again, so that he could fix my hair-- as if I was interested in an even more lopsided cut.

I spelled out for him exactly what Amanda did wrong, how she first gave me a mushroom cut, then a triangle cut, and didn't know how to do layers.He consistently failed to apologize for the poor cut, was unhelpful and uncaring, and refused me a refund, point blank, with absolutely no explanation.

Furthermore, when Amanda sarcastically denied that she had done anything wrong (she even tried to blame ME for her lacking skills), Wassim stood by carelessly.

He had no visible integrity in the quality of his salon--how could he, knowing that he makes money off of terrible quality haircuts? As a college student in the local community, I was shocked that he paid no respect to me, a student whose business supports many local, hardworking people.

Poor business.

Luckily, Squire Salon is right down the street and provides high quality corrective cuts. John easily fixed Amanda's mistakes--and, what do ya know, he gave me LAYERS.

So, if you plan on going to Salon Persia, don't.
